Lyrics:
Open eyes
The line of sight
Is clear in mind
Ascension
Covers pulled
One minute cloud the cold
The warmth deserves
A mention
We know it's far
We know it's far to go
We know it's not hard
We know it's not hard to uncover
We've been told to take the road, but that road is unprotected
And we are cold and we admit we'd much rather be defectors
It's far to go
We've said it for too long
So far to fall
We're going it alone
Each day a saint
To make it through the core
No self-restraint
We're going it alone
Sunrays shine
And so I close my eyes
Sunlight mine
And so I shut the blinds
Warmth from them
Prefer the warmth from within
High hopes dream
And so I fall asleep
SO I FALL ASLEEP
It's far to go
It's far to go
We've said it for too long
So far to fall
We're going it alone
Each day a saint
To make it through the core
No self-restraint
We're going it alone

Also super picky about pretty much anything I listen to, I'm not a big fan of some of their new stuff to be completely honest. Unfortunate, because I love this song's album, Ghost Mile, and The meaning of I but don't jive with their 2 newer albums. Maybe because they aren't as heavy songs, or don't incorporate as much power metal as older songs. ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

If you like Voyager listen to their "Colours In The Sun" from 2019 then go back through their previous work from their. This is an amazing album
I honestly daren't listen to this album in case I have a heart attack lol. I ADORE porcupine tree, C Horse, Haken, DT, Leprous, duran duran, aha, typo negative, tears for fears, synths, keytars, drums with lots of toms, sparkling arpeggiators, 80s music, DJENT and live for Prog. This is ALL those things and more. This band are STUPENDOUSLY GOOD

I met Ashley at a drum clinic in perth and he is a great person to be friends with. He is a fucking awesome drummer and he gives Voyager that big boom!
No wonder the name "Voyager" in Eurovision was so familiar, because I have listened to their music for long time. I was very surprised and excited when I heard about the Eurovision.
Thank goodness for Eurovision or I may have missed out on this band and their AMAZING music!!!
They should be a lot bigger than they are. Awesome band, only recently discovered them

Said this in the pledge comments.....just like Devin Townsend/Gojira/Living Colour etc., this band has created their own universe with sound and style and with every album continue to push and expand that universe with wonderful results. @@BlackHeart_KZread_Channel I still love all those bands. I love heavy stuff, but if anyone wants to chill out, it's all good if they do. Often I love the chill stuff too. If artists go in a different direction to what you're into, they're not bad. They're just doing their thing. My mum taught me this lesson when I was young when I thought UB40 sucked cause they weren't like Savage Garden.

Dream Theatre are very talented but quite a lot of what they do sounds never builds on what they started with. Like they can riff like motherfuckers but sometimes there's just no musicality or heart in it, it's like an elongated jam session with Petrucci. Songs like this just pull you in and stir something and it has been fucking AGES since a band did this for me. I'm even getting like early days of Soilwork/Dark tranquillity vibes from the melody and synth work. Brilliant!

Theo Martin our singer Daniel writes and plays all the keys and synth parts on our albums. Just not realistic or economical for us to have another person and more equipment to take on stage.
