I have these binoculars. Love them. Great warranty. Go Vortex. I had gift certificates to get mine plus I hit end of the year sales at Cabela's. Ended up paying about 40 bucks. What a deal.

Instead of using shock Cord you can get small rings that are similar to a keychain ring and use those to connect. That's what I did for my binoculars. I just bought a pair of the Vortex Diamonback from Cabelas for black Friday for $129!

Attach strong key rings to the binos !

Vortex makes nice binocs. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED when I saw the difference between these and a pair of Nikon Aculon 20-22x50's. OMG! The Vortex bottom of their line WAY OUTDID the Nikons! Go check for yourselves and you'll see. I would have wound up taking the Nikons back for sure. Vortex's warranty and customer service are completely awesome.

Hey what do you think is better?.... the vortex vipers or the vortex diamondback?

I use black zip ties to connect my bino straps to my binoculars...

Zip ties are the best for attaching your strap!

Frondaro Delarge .... Yeah, I know. I should do a follow up video after fielding them in MT on a hunt but Knives are keeping me busy. And being a small KZreadr it’s hard to get good video through the binoculars and rangefinder to convey the quality they give at such a reasonable price.

Are the Vortex Diamondback HD binoculars IPX7 waterproof rated?

Bought the same binoculars, but instead of a hat, it came with their GlassPak and harness which I think is a better value than the hat.

13 minutes of my life wasted watching a video of what I thought was going to be a review of Vortex Diamondback binoculars, and all it ended up being was a review of a Badlands binocular case, never even went outside to test the binoculars.

These must be the now older (its 2020 now) model of Diamondbacks. The newer model is called the Diamondback HD, and are suppose to come with a chest case similar to what he bought.

Well, having tried a part of Montana and talking with both residence and Fish & Wildlife I would forego another Montana Pronghorn hunt. I'd try Wyoming perhaps next year but we'll see. As for my wife hunting? she's not a hunter but she will assist in the hunting process and even cleaning of whatever I would get. She was born and raised on a farm in Poland so she's not in anyway skittish or afraid to get her hands dirty.

Did you ever think to switch to a small clip ring?

No, I just have shock cord in place and it's been working great. Quiet too.

The hats to big for you? Man i wish I had that problem. Even XXL hats are tight on me

I'd say yes. I don't get anything for endorsing Vortex and as far as I know, they don't even know I exist. I like mine and am pleased so far.

Hi. I wanted to buy binocular for traveling, supervision, bird wathing, but I can't choose model. My budget 150-200$. Now i watch 2 brands. Nikon and Vortex. So, my questions: 1. Nikon Prosstaf 7S or Vortex Diamondback? 2. Sizes and magnification, 8×42, 8×50, 10×42, 10×50 which one the better?

I'd say look at who's warranty may be better. I can say Vortex has a great warranty. I own many of their products and bought them all with my $$$.

Not as witty as you I guess.

I just got the same pair from Amazon and don't think mine or yours are a genuine Vortex product. Vortex Diamondback binoculars have their brand name "Vortex" on top of unit where it is labeled "Diamondback". I will be returning mine and buying from from an authorized dealer.

Lynden Mazuren ... I cannot speak to the authenticity to your purchase but am quite confident that mine are indeed Vortex Optics. It has been a while and I cannot say that the model body would not change through the years. Rebranding and such is common practice. With that said, if you contact Vortex in Wisconsin, they could assist. Maybe find the contact info on the Amazon seller too. Good luck and thanks for reaching out.

You just have the older model. The new Vortex Diamondback HD' s say Vortex instead.
