hang in there, buddy, i know exactly what you mean - just don't give up! if you somewhen are in need of variation, another soothing english accent, although often quite sombre and melancholic in his delivery, would be Vaatividya here on KZread; specifically the lore-oriented videos that he makes. not that my intention is to advertise for another channel here; no, to be honest, i'm very happy for the videos that Gopher makes. i can't describe how well it makes me feel, hearing his voice again, after a Bethesda-hiatus i've had for the benefit of university priorities. thanks for this whole playlist, @Gopher , it really helps me get back into the modding scene!

Thats how I found your videos and I am very thankfull with you. Vortex is way more powerfull than I expected, and the way you teach how to use it is incredible, Thank you! Thank you, Gopher. Great video. I've used mod managers MO, NMM, and MO2, as they came out but I prefer Vortex because of the flexibility of managing groups of mods, setting up rules the way I want and easy integration of my tools(like MO2 does), switching profiles on the fly, etc. There are guides available right within Vortex, but nobody seems to read anymore. Thanks for taking the time to put together such a nice resource for us.

Thank you for your tutorials on vortex. I was playing a modded game with NMM and had steam set offline to avoid having to update as the game was stable and I used some mods from another site ( LL ). Game was stable and looked great, then windows updated something happened, nmm was also outdated and one day the SKSE loader from NMM quit starting my game. So I loged into steam, and got the new skse64, and imported mods from NMM. thank you for helping me re learn modding Skyrim SE again. Modding is as fun as playing the game, and your tutorials are awesome. Currently NMM isn't even a download option, onlu manual and vortex, so i appreciate you walking me thru the change over. I also hope having vortex installed will make scrolling thru nexus mods easier again, as right now it was slow, and many important features weren't working like the requirements drop down etc etc Thank you. Im glad your still making tutorials as I still refer to your SKSE64 instillation tutorial often. THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It tells you every conflict, and helps you fix nearly everything instead of staring at your screen for 2hrs shuffling plugins around. Hide ESPs (like for Bijinn all-in-one)? Or easily modify mod based INI or similar files like MO2? Gopher I would love a video with a short list of advanced features and demo of other advanced features.

I have been using nexus mod manager since 2018 and after getting a couple of mods I did not saw any mods I wanted so when nmm got outdated I kept using it because learning a new manager while my current mods works perfectly fine seemed dumb to me. But to my horror I recently found new mods I wanted so I took the leap and transfered the mods into vortex. To my horror the game crashes because vortex don't find skse but I managed to fix it. So at this point im annoyed at vortex for making me do something that just worked with nmm. So after making the game not crash because it don't recognise skse despite it being in the steam folder, some mods don't work because they are at the wrong order. Thanks to this helpful video I finally made this nightmare of a transfer end and now im back to relaxingly playing skyrim once more :D thank you very much mr Gopher.

Gopher, I have absolutely no problem you making this video. I appreciate it. But, all I wanna say is that I wish you made this incredibly important part of using Vortex along with all the other Vortex Tutorials you made. I downloaded Vortex and started using it right around when you made part 4. And I didn't understand a single thing. Like what am I doing ? I'm never gonna play Fallout 4 again, it's ruining all my saves... and then after after a couple ruined save files, I learned for myself. Made my own groups and my own tree diagram in the manage groups section, and had to figure out the mod conflict part by myself. What I'm trying to say is that you're the only one that makes Vortex tutorials on KZread, I just wish you made these sooner. As in when Nexus Mods literally forced and nagged ppl to use Vortex. Literally changing the NMM button to Vortex.

All that's needed now is a video on how to mod non-Gamebryo games using Vortex, since there are a lot of differences both slight and big between modding Skyrim/Fallout vs other games such as The Witcher.

That Individual file system actually looks to be helpful! For example, Rustic Clothing replaces the default male underwear textures with nicer ones, however HIMBO supplies its own meshes and textures for underwear. In MO2 it'd be as simple as looking at the file conflicts and hiding Rustic Clothing's textures, but since Vortex can't do that, the next best thing would be to simply let HIMBO's underwear textures take priority over Rustic Clothing with the individual files rule.
