Great! Saved me from going mental.

Thank you for this. I had one of the plastic parts locking the handle into the mechanism slightly cracked and the handle had jumped off place inside the door. This helped me understand how it should work so i eventually got it back together after disassembling the door.

Thank You ... perfect Explained .... I removed it before i see the vid. So the inside already go away.. but it´s possilbe to push it with a hook an lock it with screw again ....

Did the same thing but now the handle wont get out of open position, how did you do it

Sjoerd! Bedankt voor de duidelijke uitleg. Op internet staan diverse how-to's maar dit is echt perfect! Volgens mij hebben ze bij Volvo iets aangepast in het facelift model, ik heb een S60 uit 2015 en het gat om aan die ene schroef te komen zit achter de rubber die rondom de deur loopt. Dankzij jou video zag ik dat het conisch gevormde deel naar de schroef geleidt. Heel erg bedankt voor deze video!

Thank you very much for this helpful video! I have one question. Is it hard to attach a door lock cable to this handle bracket? I've broken my handle and want to replace it with used bracket. But some of them are sold with and some without the attached cable.

The hole is behind the rubber. You have move the rubber a little

Hi, need you help. I pulled door handle out allready and did not lock it. Can I just pull mechanism using hook outside, than fix the position? I just not want to disassamble the door second time....

Andrew Cherry maybe you can pull it back indeed from the outside with a hook and than lock it with the screw. After that you can reinstall the handle.

@@Sj0ertum1, did you manage to pull back the mechanism without dismantling the inner side of the door? I made a mistake and now cannot get the handle back in again ...

Don’t remove the lock if you do this with the handle on the car. Otherwise you can’t get the handle to lock

People from the netherlands just can't speak english :-D
