very Nice, I got an XC90 D5 2013, gearbox failed. Wonder what you guys are doing to maintain the gerboxes in those cars, it seems that they don't last long.

I was going to buy a 2010 model next month with 100k miles on the clock. Or a lexus 2.2 IS or an E Class Mercedes

The sealed transmission is a pile of rubbish, change the oil as regularly as you would on any other vehicle

I have a 2011 xc90 i took it to a specialist auto box services and they said the gear box needs oil change every 40K miles. At 130k the seals go and they require changing. But you are best to overall the gearbox then. Clutches, seals etc it cost about £1000. To just do the seals is £900.

Mine 2009 change ATF at 150.000 km when I bought it, now 180.000km going strong lot of off-road.
