Volvo B10MA-55 mk.IV Säffle 2000NL year 2002 (Voith)

This bus here is the last Volvo B10M sold in Denmark. Chassis number 54054. First date of reg. 20-12-2001. It is now withdrawn from service by Arriva. Let's hope there will be a buyer for this fine machine. :) Very few Volvo B10M (apart from HT Copenhagen in the 1980's) in Denmark had Voith gearboxes, most had Allison and later on, ZF.

@@darylyatestransportblogs Is it the sensor or the actual gauge? If it's the gauge I'm actually lucky I got a working one second hand for a joystickproject :P.

@@Dutch3DMaster I’m not sure all I know is it’s a common issue as I’ve seen quite a few B10s with broken tachometers I remember my favourite B10 had a working one and was swapped with a broken one for some reason

@@darylyatestransportblogs That's.....odd, that doesn't seem to suggest it's the sensor obviously (I removed the electronics except the gauge itself in the one I have because it did some absolutely wonky things with the speedometer connected as well, not sure what that was about, but I suspect some CAN-bus interference from the meter's electronics not seeing a CAN signal from the sensor being outputted to the ground of the gauge (it was weird, the speedometer basically doubled the speed it was sensing :P ).
