There must be something in the safety edge? If the flow of air in the seams is cut off then it tricks the buss brain to think that there is something between the door and the seam.

I didn't find anything, this bus was actually taken out of service because of this, it was sent to the mechanics, and is running happily without any problems to this very day :)

I used to work at a maintainence facility. The doors have a potentiometer to determinate it's position. Once now and then then value or position gets messed up so de door only reaches "99% closed" while it is completely shut. The door reopens automaticly when it doesn't reach its closed position in a set time. To fix this the you have to let the door do a calibration run, which can be done in less then 20 seconds.

@@anderschristiansen6796 In the cabinet above the door there is a workshop-button to open/close, if you press and hold it the door wil do the calibration. With most brands you hold the button until the door lights flash

In these cases, Hold it down the button, it forces this door to close.

Har prøvd både hovedstrøm og motor restart, gikk opp igjen ved bruk av den utvendige døråpneren også. Er helt fin igjen nå

Di solito se stacchi l'alimentazione batteria dall'esterno e la reinserisci torna a funzionare. Comunque le porte sui 8700 sono state un grosso problema
