Great video Rami and I love how you compared it total station readings. Really helpful video. Something I noticed which I’d suggest is worth noting. If you’re using your GCPs during processing the relative RMS error doesn’t tell you what the final error is after processing with those points. Always good practice to use check points as they are the only true way of verifying accuracy post processing with GCPs. Obviously if the relative accuracy to the GCPs before processing is decent you can be pretty confident you’re within tolerances as you showed here but I think it’s always helpful to remember to use check points post processing with GCPs for full quality control purposes 😊
Cool video! What a pretty hill!
Your videos are great love them
Wonder full . Thank u another dear Rami .
love to see more videos like this relating to topographic surveys and what data surveyors and engineers would need from them.... 👍
Great video, the humor using afew moments later and one eternity later showed how massive it is to process point cloud using Carson or Agisoft
it's a nice to watch your videos
great video bro keep up!
Great stuff Rami! Thanks for creating this. I wonder how the volume compares to Drone without GCPs… Also, have you done a volume survey with RTK GNSS Rover?
Carlson photo capture looks like a good deal.
Great work Rami! Are you a dual licensed? I would like to see you do the ASTM sand cone with imagery.
Nice to see your Behind on Wall (Room Walpaper)
So I just picked up the mavic 3 Enterprise with the RTK module from noar tech a few weeks ago. I see in this video you're using control points. I agree with this method, what are you using for your GPS Rover? Trying to stay as "cost effective" as I can.
Nice video Rami Great work can you make video on LiDar scanner to point cloud data to volumetric analysis/ measurement of surface or stock piles. Example: can we use iPhone LiDar or any other LiDar tool is required to do the process (Faro scanner). I request you make video for the same. Thank you
Sir, thank you very much for your videos. Could you please explain how to create a 3d model of a car using the point cloud data captured by Iphone Lidar? Thanks
Hey Rami, great work, bro. i was wondering if the mini 3 pro is suitable for volumetric mapping?
Let me ask u question about What mobile station do D-r2tk?
Hi Rami! The drone used is a specific one used for surveying or is just a Dji inspire? I'll also double check now your video "Drone surveying for beginners" :) Thanks!
Would I be able to map with a Mavic2Pro and reach RS only?
Can we measure distance or area using drone ? Kindly explaine.
What’s the drone model? Standard Phantom 4 only?
Is there any particular requirement on drone to carry the survey as u have done .
Is it possible to do topography survey in a dense forest with this setup?

Since photogrammetry only takes in the light reflected by the sun, you would mostly only model the treetops. For dense vegetation people use LiDAR, since the light points can find tiny clearings to pass through and get back, so you could actually get clear information of the surface below. Software can then filter out vegetation. LiDAR is much more expensive than a simple CMOS sensor sadly

@@deoxew Good point! I have 2 emlid reach RS2 receivers i would like to make a topo map with what program would you recommend to import all the points into to get a visual map?
why you used 5 GCP while your drone is RTK ?
how can i create a ground checkpoint myself, i'm a beginner and i don't quite understand it 🙂(I tried to use the same program as you but I can't because I don't have checkpoints:/ )
How would you survey two pieces of property in conflict if one of the land owners refuse to let the surveyor on the land? Could a drone do this? Yet there must be corner makers set by someone? So again how is this done? Make a video that explains conflict resolution.

Don't you serve notices to the neighbors informing them you are coming to do a survey?
Do you still need a license for surveyor
