I think the most heartbreaking part of this video is that it so accurately represents how good and impactful this show could have been if the creators hadn't screwed it up in the last few seasons.

Nah it wasn't their faults, they were required changes in last moments when everything was already set up For example they were planning on killing off Shiro and had everything ready, the story, the plot, the storyboards, but then they got a new requirement to keep him alive, a few changes s like these were made too late so they had to come up with ways to make their jobs easier because it would take too long to rewrite everything plus make storyboards and then reanimate everything again They had no choice in the matter

I watched that scene with my young cousin (she’s around 7-8) and I cried but she didn’t understand, bc she was young, that Keith basically tried to kill himself-

This is better than the actual show It's so full of emotion, it carries the message of what Voltron was meant to be If the show carried this energy with it it could have been amazing

It's almost been a year since VLD ended. This show will always have a special little place in my heart, despite the injustices it received at its ending. These characters were beautiful, and i grew with this show as i watched it. The idea was so basic, but VLD was something completely unique; and I'll always love it for that. This edit is absolutely beautiful, amazing, and has helped me remember just how much this show has helped me, and how much it means to me. It's been an honour flying with you all.

i remember watching that for the first time after the season came out, and it. it hurt so so much. pidge's SCREAM - bex is such a talented voice actress, cause damn, i _felt_ it. it's such a beautiful and heartbreaking moment in television and it really made me think: this is grief.

My best friend introduced me to Voltron back when season 1 aired, we were obsessed with it, until my best friend grew out of the show around season 2 and didn't watch it anymore, I spent years watching this show, crying, cheering, laughing, getting shocked, and at the Season 8 Finale, I cried, hard. I grew up with this show, I remember me having the best birthday ever because Season 5 came out on my Birthday, I spent the whole day watching Voltron, my entire life was this show. I miss it so much. I know everyone says the show was trash after season 3, I don't agree, some of my fav seasons are after season 3, but I do love Season 2 so much, ah screw it, I love every episode, I quote the lines in Voltron daily. I watch the Space Mall episode before I go to bed everynight. It's my favourite episode of the whole show. And, I don't really ship anyone, I love all the relationships in this show, I think they're all adorable, I've re-watched Voltron at Least 4 times during quarantine, and it makes me so happy to see people here in 2020 who still love this show...it's been an honour flying with ya'll

This show was what made me get close to my friends, every time a trailer for a new season would drop I would text it to our group chat, we got more people to watch it. it started with just me and one friend who happened to watch it and we started making references with made the other people start watching it, we got six other people to start watching it, we would get super hyped for a new season and some of us would stay up all night together to watch it. we talked theories to ships (respectfully tho most shipped klance but there was one sheith shipper and a plance shipper too) and we all got assigned a character (i was keith) and we roleplayed, the first sleepover i was even invited too was partly a voltron sleepover. and at the last season we all got together i think 5 (one couldn't make it) and we watched the entire last season together, we stayed up until 5am watching it since we had school and had to wait for people to arrive but, we watched it all and were screaming and yelling the entire time, the adult of the house did not get any sleep that night. A few of us cried at the end and we all hated the end. but we went through it together and it was one of the main reasons we all even became friends. But even though the disappointment I cant hate this show, Its been an honor flying with you.

I honestly don't know if anyone feels the same, but this video makes me want to experience Voltron again. I can't bring myself to watch it all over because I remember all the experiences I had when each season was still coming out, the fan art, the fanfics, the tumblr theories - everything. I'd honestly give anything to watch Voltron for the first time again, it's such a magical show to me and even the later seasons meant a lot even if they weren't perfect because I feel like we all got to experience it together :)

fr dude. the shipping fandom was always weird and toxic (happened to myself a couple times too, no matter how ashamed I am to say it 😭) and I tried to rewatch it but this show had such a chokehold on me. ESPECIALLY klance. too fucking much. I was insanely obsessed and for some reason I still am and I can't tell you why because I don't know. the emotions this show gives me are so bittersweet and it's so sad.

i had the same feelings about rewatching just bc i knew it would be so hard emotionally. i watched the show when i was 13-14. i was so so depressed, i had no purpose and everyday was a fight. in less than two months i turn 21. in three months i’ll be celebrating four years with my partner, and two years living in our own apartment. a few weeks ago i decided to rewatch the first episode just for kicks and my partner was in the room and they really liked it. we started watching it together and. i cant even put the feeling into words. it’s weird to rewatch it, but it’s mostly been really nice. i’ve kind of gone through a phase recently where i’ve gotten back into all my old fandoms but instead of using them as a shield from the world i just use them as a source of happiness. it’s kind of my way of saying goodbye to my teenage years?? i think by the time i finish the series again i’ll be thankful i did it. plus i forgot just how fucking GOOD this show is, forgetting all the bullshit between fans and creators, just enjoying everything it has to offer has been the best part. at the end of the day it’s a story i’ll always keep close to my heart, it’s comforting and it’s just good. also for me personally it’s been cool to notice how i react to it now versus how i did back then, i learn a lot through doing stuff like that. sorry this is so long, but this comment section feels very comforting, thanks for reading if you did

I saw this and ended up binge watching all of Voltron in about three days. You monster. This was beautiful. It is nothing short of a masterpiece. I love how you incorporated the voice overs and created a very powerful story. Also, I can't believe that before watching the show, I thought that Lance with a jellyfish over his head was a super emotional moment. Oh how wrong I was.

Wow. I don't even know what to say right now. This is hands down the best Voltron video I've ever seen. I don't think any of others even come close to how epic this one is and how well it captures the show as a whole. Everything was in there: their found family, their struggles, their destiny as Voltron, and their fight against Zarkon. This video is so layered and has such an amazing build up. I got chills during the second chorus! Thank you so much for making this beautiful video!

It's been a good long while since this show ended.. it might've been a complete trainwreck in the end, but honestly? I can't bring myself to hate this show. It was my escape, and it still holds a special place in my tiny heart. Even though the end was heartbreaking.. and the community around it was questionable, it was still one of my favorite shows. same, its 2021 and i still cant let go, I watched up until the last ep cause I already know what happens and I don't wanna fully believe it, like it felt like they were building klance up to were it would be cannon it the finale like it should have been since they started as rivals but this show will always be important to be even through all the problems in the end, and i will rewatch it a thousand times over :)

I watched this. Then I went and watched it again. And just, holy shit? This is easily the best Voltron video I’ve ever seen. The music, the shots, and the quotes were layered incredibly well and I started to get emotional near the end. This video is amazing!

Man...I've never had a freakin' SHOW hurt me like _Voltron_ did, and I still have issues thinking about it, but this...this was nice. This video encapsulates what was beautiful about _Voltron,_ what made me enjoy it and keep watching it in the first place. Thanks.

I swear this show could have been so much, it had so much potential, it’s of course an AMAZING masterpiece, I’m just still sorry about a pair of things. Besides that, I do love them so much, they’re my comfort place and I literally CANNOT stop myself from crying my heart out every single time I watch this. Embracing the fact that all of this is fictional and can’t really talk to/hug all of the characters it’s hard, but this edit makes the struggle a little less bad, so I can feel a little less lonely. one of my favorite parts of this is when the lyric "the stars, the moon, they have all been blown out" is paired with Allura looking at the huge burning mass in their direction. I get chillllssss!!!

I was a little late to the Voltron thing, because when I saw it I saw on Netflix. I’ve watched it about 16 times. It’s not like other shows where you grow out of it, I have been sticking to this show for the past 3 years.

Voltron was my entire life while it was still ongoing. The characters meant everything and I had never been so into a fandom before. I was absolutely crushed by the way the last half of the seasons were handled. The ending tore me apart. Voltron was my hyperfixation and it felt like I was mourning a death after it was over. I distanced myself from the mess of a fandom but occasionally I come back to this masterpiece. It makes me feel so many feelings and means so much to me. The song is still one of my absolute favorites and I first heard it here. The artistry and talent evident in this video is immense. Truly beautiful❤️

I think I watch this maybe a couple times every year, just to see if the feelings will ever wear off. It's 2020 now. They haven't worn off.

Hit all the right notes for this series, well done. You can see all the effort you put into this, from the careful build-up of dialogue to the synchronized scenes depicting each of the team member's individual struggles. Hands down, the best amv and most accurate portrayal of Voltron I've seen. Just awesome, thank you for your hard work and dedication!

Voltron: Defenders of the Universe is a show that my dad watched when he was a kid. When I went on Netflix one day, it was on the home screen while my dad was in my room. That's how I got into Voltron: Legendary Defender. I wish I had watched it when it came out, but, I never knew about it, so here I am watching it in late 2023 and early-to-mid 2024....

This so so damn good. Holy crap. I picked up editing as a side hobby recently and know just how much slicing and cutting and timing that all takes. Its visually and technically flipping beautiful. Good job man.

One of my favorite parts of the video is how Pidge's yelling blends in with the song at 1:33 - 1:35. It's just too much. This is my favorite Voltron AMV!! I love a lot of things that are happening in this, like how beautiful moments and scenery are captured, the video is very dramatic without seeming overly-dramatic, and how it's one of the things that remind me how hard those people worked on the show. A lot of the time when I look through Voltron content outside of the actual show, it doesn't make me feel anything close to what this video makes me feel. I'm glad the show finally captured more of your interest... I love VLD, and it's awesome that such a great editor is editing videos for it. Thanks for this!

ohh shit lol this is so good! When u made the first chorus kind of slow paced i knew u were gonna go hard for the second chorus lmao and u did not disappoint !! This is probably my favorite voltron video.. i love ur variety with footage from all the seasons and the fact that u didnt just use the classic or most popular scenes. I think it encompasses the show as a whole really well. And the use of voiceovers and subtle sound effects once and a while flows really well and adds a lot of depth to the vid! Okay, pidge's scream kills me everytime I watch this. I shared it with my sister, and now she shares my pain.

its been 4 years since this edit came out, and I still make it a ritual to play it once a month because its so beautiful and emotional.

You invoke all the right emotions with this video. Pushing the right buttons to stun me with this majesty is no small feat. I started tearing up! Makes me want to watch it all over again... I remember when I first started the show. I had seen memes of it over and over and I eventually decided to watch it. Boy was I NOT disappointed. Thank you for reminding me how much I like Voltron... At first, the video was a bit slow paced, but I could start to feel how the emotion of this video will end up being. It didn't hit me until @2:30 when I felt myself just...chilled. Also, might I add, it wasn't flashy. Or extremely edited to become something empowering. The insert of dialogue and just the addition of specific scenes to the emotions of the music causes this whole other vibe. It can completely relate to how the show is. And, I just love it. It is perfect.

No ships or weird toxic drama, no promotion of uncharacteristic behavior from any of the characters. This video glorifies everything I love about Voltron. It's pure and beautiful and radiates a grand story with beautiful visuals. holy hell mate. its been like 2 years since ive finished this show and i still can get over it.

Even after it ended and I wasn’t happy with the last season,(they murdered my babyyy) this still hits me and my breath gets caught in my throat, and my eyes start to prickle with tears. You made an amazing video that made me feel every second of it and it’s incredible. The sheer and raw talent you have to bring together a small 4 minute video from hundreds of clips, and it to make me feel the slow and emotional burn i felt for 7 seasons. It’s insanely, incredibly, beautifully done.

This is still one of my favorite shows even though I finished it years ago. It holds a special place in my heart. This video was one of the first ones that pulled me into the fandom. This show had me holding onto the edge of my seat at times and kept me excited to see the next part. This video always makes me feel that all over again. And to top it off it’s one of my favorite songs ever. And the quotes from the show added into the video makes it feel so much more intense. Thank you for making this masterpiece!

I remember watching the show when it was airing and getting so hyperfixated on it whenever a trailer, spoiler or season came out that i wouldnt be able to do anything else besides watch it and interact with other fans for at least a month. The show was given a poor ending but i still look back on it in a good light because it gave all of us so much which i am very grateful for

this made me feel so many emotions at the same time like wtf that was amazing

It’s been four years since this came out and it’s still an amazing video. I love how it shows how fascinating Voltron and it’s story is. Also love how it shows mostly all the important scenes (in my opinion)

I was watching Voltron during a really low point in my life and every character means something to me. So this show obviously holds a special place in my heart, but there are moments now where I forget about where I was and what helped me cope. When I do remember I return to this video and think of where I was, how I've changed, and what can be done next. So thank you, thank you so much. :)

At the end I cried for so long I hated the ending but loved it too

I've watched so many edits before and this still will always be my all-time favorite of Voltron I just wish I could download it so I had it for the rest of my life.

Btw I first watched this like 2 years ago and every single time it still makes me tear up and get super happy and makes me want to watch Voltron a million more times. (even after season 8)

Every year I have to come back and watch this at least once - It's still the best AMV I've ever watched.

Every single time I watch this after a while I rewatch voltron and want to cry, my god.

I know it has been so long since voltron ended, but every time I watch this masterpiece I still get goosebumps. I recently started a rewatch and what beautiful memories it brought back❤❤❤

it's been what? a good 6 years since this show first aired? god its weird to think it was that long ago. I wish the show didn't go bottom up in the last half.... I wish we actually saw what the writers wanted for the show at first. I wish that I still looked to the stars and imagined that one day I'd be thrown into them for an amazing adventure. This show is the entire reason I wanted to start doing animation, and it's the reason I have the media analysis skills I do (thank you vld fandom when were weren't toxic for that one ig). This show also lead me to amazing friendships, and wonderful interactions. God I just with there was a show for me now that could do that....

Maannnnn, Lance deserved so much better :( I maybe biased because Lance was and always will be an important character to me, but he did not deserve what Allura did to him in season 8. He deserved so much.

the "Good Bye, Allura" always hit me so hard...

It's been 3 years and when I watched this edit, I got chills all the way through and had tears in my eyes the first 30 seconds in...... I didn't remember the impact that Voltron had on me

Man, I remember watching this amv years ago and it's what made me watch voltron in the first place. I still get emotional watching it honestly, the scenes and dialogue are so well placed in with the song🫶

this is...gorgeous. i have no words, i’m just in awe at this. the perfect scenes, the perfect song, the most heartwrenching voice lines, im on the verge of tears right now. i almost started crying when you used the clip from the graveyard with pidge, i was sobbing during that episode and so that line just...it’s fantastic. this is my favorite voltron video i’ve ever seen.

Every few months I come back to this edit because it just perfectly captures how amazing this show truly was. I feel like if DreamWorks didn't fuck up what the production team had already created for the end, it could have been so impactful. Wish I could experience this show for the first time again.

Yoooo I started watching Voltron literally just because I knew that season 4 was coming out in a few days and I was like well now or never I guess lol so I binged it in like 2 days and then was just completely sucked in and stayed up until 4am to watch season 4 as it came out lmao oops 😬 tangent aside though this video was brilliant, I especially loved the part with Allura and Alfor really matching the music wonderfully
