Finally. A video that is made for people like me

I am a righty and when I play twos with my wife, who is a lefty, she plays right side for the advantages you mentioned. When I play mens with a righty I will play from the right as I was a setter in university and it feels natural to me, most righties don't like the right side. You have to find the best compromise for your team.

Totally! It's super beneficial to be able to play both sides, so then you can play with any partner even if they only like one side, so good on you for being able to do that💪

Very nice video, It helped me better understand where i should i be attacking. I got a question as a lefty how to do a spike with power. I tend to hit the ball behind me. Like to be more clear i dont get why i keep getting the ball behind me which is making it more hard for me to hit since my left arm would be on the back when spiking. Thank you for any advice

I am left handed and having hard time of spike approach, i usually use my left foot forward then spike and twisted my body its quite painful but i execute it well the ball

What about someone who is lefty but can also hit with right hand. Should that skill be developed or stick to keep developing that left handed hit.

Because you have your powerfull cross court that’s easier to hit from the right side(read as: feels 10 times better to hit that shot than any other shot hahaha)

Not weird at all! Everyone's bodies and shoulders work and move in different ways, so for some, the standard cross swing from the left side is easier and for others that standard cross swing from the right is easier
