Jenia probably prefers to refer to himself as French at this point. Ilya is a better serve-receiver, in my opinion. He still lacks some of Jenia's anticipation on defense, but you can tell he's learning. Overall, I would argue he's the best libero in Russia, and honestly he out-performed Jenia in the Super League this year. We'll see how he does in the international circuit once Russia is allowed to participate again.
