Most of the people don’t know about one feature in VW Virtus which is cornering headlamps, where in Škoda Slavia doesn’t have it. Cornering headlamps are really useful during night drive!

Skoda's interior is very creaky. I went to the showroom's of both and while I did prefer the design of skoda, the quality made me choose volkswagen

saw and TD'd both and liked Virtus more (drove Virtus weeks after Slavia and I should have come out unimpressed if both were similar having driven a Slavia before but I still was enjoying which clearly means Virtus has a slight edge in the driving feel).. haven't seen a Virtus on road yet but white Slavia on roads look really classy!

I would go with Skoda because of its interior looks and service is cheaper than Volkswagon

I’m from northeast and we have just one dealership of VW that too it’s 400 kms away from my location, it’s sad that they don’t provide enough service centres and dealerships in our northeastern states, if we people here would like to buy any of their models than we have rethink about their after sales services. So here the enthusiasts people who would like to have one VW would rather buy other brands like Hyundai or Honda because of network service centre’s availability.

@@PATRICX2000looks are subjective. Mujhe slavia age se bhi achi lagti hai. Because of its iconic lever grill design. Jo apko Skoda Superb, Octavia jaisi gadiyo me dekhne ko milti hai. Same grill Slavia me bhi hai. Looks wise toh Slavia mujhe better lagti hai. Han 20 mm chhoti hai Virtus se. Isliye Virtus thodi sporty aur lambi lagti hai halka sa.

You guys are gonna laugh at this one but I feel that Skoda Slavia is like a BMW as it is sporty and strong looking while Volkswagen Virtus is like an Audi which is just sporty.

I personally feel Slavia is better since almost all things are comparable but Slavia is offering better mileage. Also Slavia looks more premium whereas Virtus is on the Sportier side.

@SARANG I am not sure what makes you think that the handling of Slavia is worse. It has one of the best handling. Worse is a very strong word. They are practically the same cars. There is not much difference in handling

@SARANG buddy i own a Slavia. And the test you are talking about. Nobody drives through a corner at 70 kmph. I am not sure how many you yourself have driven. Giving example of zigwheels video and telling me that I am making judgement based on a video. LOL

Everything is shared in both means both are same so now we have to prefer Mileage than slavia

Next time try lowering down the background music. Too irritating.

Skoda for sure...not only for the looks but in my city VW dealer breaks the price of the car really fast, for example, I was first going to buy a kushaq or taigun and both were launched around the same time but then I was getting offers on kushaq of around 60k, and on the other hand, was getting discount on Taigun of more than 1.3lac as a costumer its good but I then I shifted to the sedan as they are doing better than SUV's in which I was getting no discount from any of the company but looking at the past example there is very chance virtus will also be getting this huge discount which at the end breaks the price of the car and will have the feeling of cars value got depreciated really fast

Build quality and performance wise Virtus is based. Looks and feel wise Slavia is best. Based on my preference, I would go for Virtus as drive quality matters to me the most.

It’s true. I drive a 1.5 manual and it’s amazing. 110 ke speed pe bhi 2-cyl mode activated thi giving an awesome fuel efficiency. Its an amazing machine bro.

I have the slavia and I have to agree that the insulation is bad. Can hear too much engine and road noise inside. Have to increase the music audio to keep that from annoying me.
