I suggest this car to newbies for its amazing visibility! You almost feel like as if you're walking, the road is on your hand. Park assist will help you to adapts faster to its size, if you're scared of it. Air conditioning is very good, and if you need to transport something, there's plenty of room for that. Engine is indestructible.

Love how theres so many reviews of cars I can afford. keep em coming

Good review, regardless of engines, I see where the new one improves, more space and all seats fold flat, I only have 3 kids, but these cars would suit me, be very handy if you buy flat pack stuff or 2nd hand furniture

we have just brought one of these with the1.6 TDI and its got ample power to over take. you also forget your driving a diesel as its so quite. this guy must have bat hearing.

I've had the 1.6 diesel in a Passat I found it gutless with a couple of passengers. The 2 litre 140 bhp is much better

@carbuyer Did u guys use a Different Camera? Even at 360p the quality is exceptional with great color saturation.

So do most cars in the UK come with a manual shifter standard? I'd say about 80% of the cars in the states are automatic.

yep it's a fantastic car for family's as it is versatile and spacious

My 2004 2.0tdi has everything this does apart from park assist..it does almost 70mpg at 60mph

@@lazycarper7925 oh you're a the book says person....got ya....my tumble dryer book says it will dry an 8kg load in an hour and 10 minutes...it takes 2 hours...don't be a the book says kinda guy.

I'm not bothered about removing the seats, i just want a 5 seats, BIG boot, powerfull diesel engine, automatic with good mpg, and the 170dsg will be the one for me :-)

I have 2007 1.4 tsi touran with 143 k km. Engine makes a wired noise when I start from a cold start. Is it a problem or normal? Please let me know

I like this car, VW's are tough and last forever, silly middle seats though, what is the point in removing them? just make them able to be placed flat.

why wouldn't it be possible with a manual gearbox??? You just put the gear in reverse and control it with the pedals...

Park assist ??? What is the point of this its madness , if a driver can not reverse park a car this size the they should not have a driveing licence. .lol... BEWEAR THIS CAR HAS NO SPARE WHEEL absolute crazy if you have a bad blow out on a wheel a silly repair kit will not fix it , and a callout from your break down provider will be required for a tow to a garage.

I'm sorry, but this one looks as dull as dishwater, that peugeot you reviewed looks much better :o) Lol, as usual, love the humor you injec t into these vids, makes up for the boring car lol :o) Most mpv drivers (mums on the school run) are so unobservant, they will still manage to crash it with the auto park ;o) As you say, it doesn't waste time being something that it's not......but there again, it COULD have been something it's not.....interesting :o)

Making or buying touran is a worse decision.The worse ever touran made and still sold in 21st century. You can not call it car or van just call it touran.it does not make any sense what it is.Touran still does not have a spare tyre or still could not solve the problem of getting blind spot when you are driving.I would not buy a tootooran in my life again.
