The Volkswagen Touareg 2023 has seen a facelift and it was about time! I was always under the impression the Volkswagen Touareg was the least popular Volkswagen Group luxury SUV, compared to its siblings.
The siblings are the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus. I was always trying to understand the philosophy behind the Volkswagen Touareg, but I could never fully grasp. Every luxury SUV in the segment has something they specialize in, that helps them stand out, for example: BMW X5 with driving pleasure, Volvo XC90 with safety, Mercedes GLE with class, etc...
Is the Volkswagen Touareg supposed to be an oversized Tiguan with more space and perhaps some status?
Does the Volkswagen Touareg possess a secret specialty? Does it have what it takes to compete against competitors?
