Based on a Golf not a Polo

I think you're the only reviewer EVER to say that there's "so much room" in the back in a T-Roc. Now I'm a fan of the T-Roc, but it by no means has "so much room" in the back.

@@AJThePlayerKZreadChannel You know your shit, but I would change some things if you want more subs. Many things are good but I would swap the outfit, ditch the white trainers, maybe a shirt or polo? Don't lean on the car as much, looks lazy and bad. Update to stereo sound, this vid is only mono.

I just picked one up at the weekend, and I love it. Jeez, so what that the dashboard is hard plastic, why would you be touching it all the time anyway? The positives far outweigh the negatives. It’s a pleasure to drive.

I agree who gives a monkeys about what the dashboards made of. We now positively do not talk about plastics in cars or how many water bottles you can carry it’s a complete waste of video

Getting mine on Sunday as my 2019 VW Polo is faulty so just got through the rejection process and decided I wanted a change. Gone for the flash red with the black roof and can't wait :)

Try and sit in the middle seat in the back, you can’t cause your feet won’t get past the hump and air vent in the middle !

The 1.5 evo 148 bhp suffers from noticable engine judder at low speeds from a cold start. This is a known issue to VW who should be working on a software patch to fix the problem.

Is that guy on commission or what. Never mentioned the cheap dashboard and door panel material.

because in this segment other cars are fully loaded with premium materials right? yeah, lets ignore that it has vectorial torque(!), touchscreen with an awesome resolution, dualclutch gearbox with coasting (even uppersegment cars don t even that as option), if i m not mistaken it even has freaking pre crash! lets just review the car on one piece of plastic, that no other car in the segment has right? this is a full premium material segment right?

jh5kl The Polo, Golf and T-Roc are all MQB, but the Polo is the smaller in wheelbase than T-Roc and Golf is slightly larger. The T-Roc has the lowest level interior out of all three. It's almost as if VW group decided to maximise profit since the financial penalties by decreasing cabin finish quality when compared to the Polo.

I used to hate Volkswagens because I "Heard" they were unreliable and poorly made. Then I started driving and owning cars. Im on my second Audi at 21, about to get a 2018 A5. They re actually the mot reliable, best engineered and beautifully made cars you can buy, having test driven many alternatives. I am disappointed the dashboard isn't soft touch, but tis still beautifully put together and very well made, and its a very refined car the T-Roc. VW hating goes beyond hating the brand, they hate it because they are successful and no matter about some BS so called diesel gate scandal, people still buy their cars. Because they are good cars.

Seems to be a car you either love or hate... i didn't like it at all when i tried it 2 days ago.. only mazda CX-3 and Nissan Qashqai was worse than T-roc

I would buy one, if it was sold in the U.S.

This video seems like a cheap paid commercial for this car, he says there is a plenty of room, while his head touched the ceiling! He said the material looks fancy, it's the cheapest scratchable plastic in VW car, even polo has a better interior materials, the 1 L engine needs like 11 seconds to reach 100km/h, I'm not saying it's not a good car, it's very practical, me myself watching this video because I'm considering have one, I checked them on the ground. The higher versions are so good and so expensive as well.

Very nice car but i chose to buy Suzuki sx4 S-cross with "the same" 1L 3 cyl engine (and it's all you need) which is a bit cheaper and still a very nice crossover. Great review.

It is based on the Golf.

Mazda CX-3 and honda HR-V dominate the mini suv market at least in Latin America, VW used to be one of the best brands but now quality has been going down and American versions and European versions are way better than the cars we get. Asian companies are taking advantage of those mistakes and are starting to dominate sales. Kinda sucks because german cars are great but that’s what they get for trying to rip us off

Well it’s all subjective really Jeff if you don’t want a 3008 and you make your own choice and research it properly and are happy with your chosen car you have beaten it. No car can be better than all the others

I believe it may be a good car. However , i am not sure that is value for money , because it is not that cheap (and if you still add any extras it can become quite expensive). Value for money i would say is Dacia Duster , or Citroën C4 Cactus.

the issue with Volkswagens is not how they feel in terms of quality. They always made great cars. I like this one, too. However, the issue is the reliability. The technical reliability has been so bad lately that just because of that, i wouldn´t buy one.
