The T-cross is much under rated by the auto journalists. they do not seem to get that most people want reliable well screwed together cars that do not cost the earth to run & do not earn you speeding points. Most of us do not always want to race away from the lights or throw the car around country lanes. Give me a comfortable car any day. I actually think the T-Cross carries more of the original VW ethos than most other Makes of VW. This is a well built reasonably priced car for the people. Just like the VW beetle was back in the 1960s. I am currently looking for a high driving position economical reliable & reasonably priced car. this seems to fit the bill. I like the new interior it does seem to be a bit better quality than before. I like its sized to fit in current UK carpark spaces, unlike wider cars. I am going to the dealer today to see if i can buy one. Not fusses about the dizzy yellow or the light show. but the R line in white does look good to me. no over worried about rear view camera as the all round vision in this car seems like it just fine (especially couples with front & rear sensors). not worried about blind spot tech as i can turn my head lol. Thank you for the review Sam I think this looks like the car I need.

Thanks for your comment Michael! Yes the T-Cross is a really good option for someone who wants a small SUV that does everything they need and has that Volkswagen quality feel. Got a Match on order in Rubber ducky yellow, will hopefully be ready in July! I’m part exchanging my Hyundai bayon as it’s a bit low down for an suv with my back issues

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Yes the handbrake is a plus point for some which I understand, I didn’t like my electronic handbrake on my Golf to start with but now I think it’s great! I’m sure the T-Cross will keep its manual handbrake for the full run of this facelift 😄

Great review Sam and nice looking cars. Yellow must be making a return....I even saw a fairly new Audi A3 5 door in bright yellow yesterday. 😎

Thanks for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed, the Polo is a good option if you want to save some money and I prefer the screen setup in it. The T-Cross offers much more space though and a better choice of engines and colours!

I don't understand why all the presenters for the t-cross get the r-line which is actually less equipped than the style line. What you get with this r-line are actually sporty looking gimmicks. Absolutely nothing necessary.

I agree the Style is the best specification! People like the sporty look on the R-Line and that’s the press car spec, I just review what model is available to me.

Thanks for watching, I of course put my thoughts and opinions across, but the audience doesn’t have to agree with them! I like to think my reviews are balanced and always outlay the key facts, helping viewers make their own minds up about the car. Without any opinion I’d just be reading a spec sheet, that’s not a review that highlights the positives and negatives of a vehicle.
