    Ten years ago I replaced my original 1.9L engine in my 1984 Vanagon with a 2.1L engine and retained the Digijet system. Still going strong.

    Ewww Digifart. 80s fuel injection with no self diagnosis capability or sanity checking for any of the sensor inputs. Absolutely diabolical.

    Um, actually no. 1991 California carat had a hybrid digi1/2 system that could store 7 fail codes and had a CEL. You’d jumper some pins under the shift boot and it would flash a sequence of CEL lights that can be deciphered in the Bentley manual. I have one. It works.

    @@kw2519 do you know how to adjust the tps sensor under the throttle body? I need to adjust. I have a 1991 Jetta carat model.

    It's far easier for me to diagnose my digifant than the later technogarbage obd2 models that I can't even find a proper tool for. "its made for this tool, no actually that, no actually download this app with paid features, no actually this is the factory tool, pls pay 2000$ in yearly license". I'm fine with a digifant.
