There's no difference between the R line and the Polo Life, unless you're looking for them especially with the the exterior. The pre face-lift R Line actually looked R line and it has great looks. All in all, it's ridiculous expensive and not worth it. But knowing South Africans and thier loyalty to this brand, they'll buy it. Ngeke phela!

Eish brother I think it's time to invest in a microphone. Even a cheap lavalier mic would help out a bunch. As for the car...the price is out of this world but it's definitely a looker 👏🏼

Passing by your video and yeah I am not alone, the turbo lag is insane, it was my first DSG7 experience and this lag always annoy me when driving. And I think a drive mode is missing between the sport mode (which is too much for daily drive) and the Drive mode (which is too slow too smooth, speeds are passing at 1200 RPM... always in 'under RPM' and turbo begins to kick at 1800-200 rpm so always a feeling of under power besides the 110 horse power). But for the rest, this car is fantastic, gotta bring a new one in manual gear 👍

Good car but honestly waaay too expensive. Just thinking about the standard warranty and service plan that comes with it, I don't think it's good value for money. Secondly, most of those driver aids and quality of life features are Options. I love this car so much this price tag is just a disappointment honestly. The Chinese brands will get considerable market share because of their higher quality, better service and warranty, and standard options. I love the Polo but in what world is a Polo worth R430k standard. It's a miss for VW.

Also people are buying SUVs more now. I don't see this icon of a car getting two more generations. The new Polo is the Taigo, and the new Golf is the T-roc/Tiguan.

I beg to differ. Actually the new Golf is the Taigo... Polo would never go SUV/CROSSOVER. Polo will remain and keep dominating in it's class. And this new Polo is no longer a starterpack. You make noise when you arrive... But that's my personal opinion.
