Thanks! I changed mine by myself and know nothing about cars 🎉 I just might want to change careers and learn about German cars as there’s no mechanics around with this kind of knowledge here. I’m super broke but it’s the least I can do for you sir

Nothing surprising, they make the same thing for much less. That's it. And more profit for the company.

Thanks for the comments, it seems all the manufactures are using China these days. You would think buying factory OEM VW parts should at least be made in Europe. If they are made in China, we can just start using aftermarket parts and save money. No reason to pay a premium if they are not made in Germany. Cheers!

Do you have to disconnect the battery before anything, or not necessary?

Thanks for the question, it is not necessary to disconnect the battery. As long as the key is not on or the drivers door open, you won't have any power going to the fuel pump. Good luck on your VW project, Cheers!

Thanks for the question, the Jetta along with many other VW/Audi models use this 6.6 Bar fuel filter. You can find the fitment here - www.fcpeuro.com/products/vw-audi-fuel-filter-vag-1k0201051k#fitment Good luck on your VW project, Cheers!

Thanks for the question Louie, the 2015 SportWagen has the fuel filter incorporated within the fuel pump assembly. It does not require replacement at any interval. You would simply address it if the fuel pump ever went out. www.golfmk7.com/forums/index.php?attachments/lp_fuel-gif.149853/ Cheers!

@@BradleysGarage thank you sir! one more question. It also makes a rattle or knocking noise when I want accelerate more, and it hesitates to do so, unless you really floor it which I don't like doing. Is this symptom and noise due to a bad/dirty fuel filter? thanks again Bradley

@@LouieVillasenor Typically you would be getting a check engine light if the fuel pressure wasn't adequate. We would recommend changing the spark plugs if they are due. This can have a huge impact of they are worn. Here is the maintenance schedule - static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2014/MC-10242450-9999.pdf Good luck on your VW project. Cheers!

@@BradleysGarage yes the check engine light is on, and we recently did an oil change along with it's oil and air filters. We never checked the spark plugs. thank you for passing this information. I had no idea of it was the fuel pump or something else. because when I ran the computer to check the code it displayed a (P0045) something due to a turbo or wiring issue. thanks again,
