Any fix for teys lux one on audi a4 b8? Mine turns the screen off but its bot shutting down, killing my battery. All plug, firmware update, canbus selected the correct car model, nothing works.

Sorry mate I did sort it by snipping one of the cables but unfortunately I can’t remember which one it was and no longer have the car

When you disconnect wire will radio still hold memory for stations etc?

Just done this on mine, I knew I needed to sort the switch live but couldn't work out the wiring, weird how the switch live is part of the canbus!

Seems like this did the trick for me. Something that still bothers me is that I’m not sure if the battery still gives power to the device (even when engine is OFF), because a quick restart of the car doesn’t seem to completely restart the device as it loads up exactly as no restart had happened.

When engine is off it is supposed to go into sleep mode. In sleep mode it uses very little power couple watts, maybe less. You can however change this in settings so it never goes into sleep mode and fully powers off or powers off after two hours of being in sleep mode.

Clip the red and orange wires round the other way, (wrong way) So instead of having red to red and orange to orange you will have red to orange red to orange.. See if this works?

@@justin6822 huh? Disconnect the car battery terminal at the battery. That will reset the head unit without removing anything.

@@justin6822 just watched it again... mine was a different issue. I thought he was removing the whole head unit to disconnect and reconnect the power (which is what mine needed to fix the same symptom, which I could do by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes). But realised now he was disconnecting some leads and leaving them disconnected? Ok... weird, but whatever works :)

Vw caddy. Wont turn off if they are connected, wont turn on if they're not... im getting no information from canbus either

@@SOLIDIUS36 it would appear I was sent the wrong canbus module. The one I got was 20pin for Ford. Just check yours and get back to me. (They sent me 2 of the correct ones in error once I figured out the problem)
