Fucking crazy build... what worries me a bit are the stock brakes xD.... they can't keep up with a simple stage 1 if you drive them hard... imagine with that amount of power hahahaha

Pads and rotors go a long way. EBC yellow stuff on stock calipers are on par with BBK

Probably need to start by learning the basics of combustion (suck > squeeze > bang > blow), then learn about OBD-2 and how the ECU works, then learn about how systems like MoTec/Haltech/etc work. There's probably some video tutorials out there for tuning with different systems as well. No idea what you know/don't know already based on the context of your question, but hopefully that helps. Good luck!

You have to turn the traction control off (button on the center console) to use 'launch mode'.

@@CCDVIDEO I don't or I gotto go an actualy search fot them but it's just plain math, 2000cc vs 3600cc, 800hp vs 735, nm difference will probably be even more seeing it's a 3.6. The gearbox is mint, good tyres on there, why wouldnt it be faster? The fact many claim this does mean something.

@@CCDVIDEO btw I mean no disrespect, def a crazy build but it doesnt mean they never set a time it isnt faster. I am not even busy with this who is the fastest. I buy cars with my heart, I loved the old r32, the real one, I still have a N/A build mk1 3.2 vr6 :D I like N/A cars, never had a turbo car in my life besides diesels ofc. Modifying my c63 as we speak right now.

@@CCDVIDEO There's a MK7 GTI that runs around 600 whp that ran a 9, so I would think that this car is capable of a much faster 1/4 mile time with adequate prep work. Of course that car is/was purpose built for the 1/4 mile, but it is also FWD instead of AWD. I have a hard time being really impressed by street cars running 10s these days when you see so many cars in the 8s/9s now. Can't find the video at the moment, otherwise I'd share the link, but I found a previous vid of Tyler Aul from USP Motorsports running a 10.11 in his FWD MK7 GTI here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pH2Eu7x8pbqwiZc.html There was another video at a VW event (might have been Waterfest?) where he ran a high 9.
