I have problem my golf 4 Afn engine injector pump When i Press gas pedal it moves but not too fast same as overtaking highway this does with maf Sensor on and aloot of smoke comes from exausts But when i do maff sensor Off It pulls more And dooes much more respond gas pedal but when i goes 100km Looks like Loose power and Goes like limp mode what can be

I was worried my engine was a little shaky but seems normal

Problem ??

If you are concerned about the vibrations. The cause is the double mass fly wheel is the cause of vibration as it is a wearing part. Did you get it fixed?

Pekka M Yeah, that was fly wheel, and after it's replaced, problem was solved.

@@CarReviewsEU you should upload video of after how it sounds now. Also what where the cost?

I have changed 2 days ago the engine belt(complete set) and before i have not that noise and after the mechanic changed the belt this noise comes out i told him he said to me that is the noise of the turbo, but im sure that the noise isn’t coming from turbo... could you tell me what it is because i need it to fix i can’t listen this noise...

Alternator sound

I also have Golf Mk4 1.9TDI engine mark ATD,I have it since 12 years, but I doesen't have this problem. I think that hood is hiting the engine and makes that sound. Btw, my Golf is from 2001

Engine vibrations are normal what you can see on other engine videos on our channel, but vibrations inside car are not. All vibrations disappeared when flywheel was changed.

Have a similar problem for about 3 years. Dealer couldn't find the problem, specialized diesel shops can't help either so I just drive and don't think about it.

Hehe. I'm doing the same thing. I think I colud find solution, but I would spend too much time and money, so that's not good idea. It's tolerably and it don't bother me too much.

I have the same car with the same engine but my steering wheel vibrates while stationary and while driving on the highway. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

In 90% of those cases the cause of that issues is flywheel. In some other cases it may be uneven or unbalanced operation of injectors (German term for this: Pumpe Düse - pump injectors) or some other problem with them. Best regards.

Have you sloved this problem? I also have vibrations but only when I start to drive. It's like the silencer knocks at floor-board.

This problem appeard after I changed one injector. After that I changed motor oil, instead 5w30, I put 5w40 and vibrations are reduced. Now there are only small vibrations.

its a DIESEL, not petrol. Diesel cars tend to vibrate more

bad injectors or camshaft

Hello. Is it normal sound for this engine? My sounds in the same way, flywheel changed, alternator belt changed,turbo changed. Thanks.
