    you are excelent on diagnostic 90 percent of airbag light on coming from a bad clock spring, but i don;t recommanded to repair it, just replace it with new one

    عبدالله العريبي I treat it like any other electric circuit... I sometimes replace them, if the repair is tricky or I fell is not feasible... But you are right, replace is the correct thing to do... Thank you for watching!

    When repairing instrument clusters, It's amazing how many come in with black silicone over airbag warning led's. Car buyers should be aware that the airbag light should come on with ignition before it goes out again.... Big Thumbs Up..

    Great video! Obviously you enjoy repairing rather than replacing, giving the fact that a used or alftermarket clock spring it's not expensive, meaning that you can't charge the customer the way you deserve. Because of that I just replace them, it saves your time. Customers don't care as long as it fixes the problem. Also, was this car that delivered the Perseverance on Mars? Get some of that dirt to get it analysed😅👍

    You need to get vcds a lot better on vw group, when you go into channel on Autel can you scroll through channel number to see readings should be able to see ohms reading on squib circuit, you can on my x tool ps90 which is clone of Autel. VW poor on live data.

    Chris Thackray Hi I have VCDS... never tried it on this car, so can't really comment... I found that live data on Autel, on some cars is the same as VCDS... you can soon see a video I have for it on a Passat... Thank you for watching!

    Although it was interesting to watch I personally don't trust in such srs system "repair" of a customer's car. Soldering is a fragile point.

  • @LMAutoRepairs

    @LMAutoRepairs

    6 жыл бұрын

    MrBorntoroll I would have replace it if the repair was not feasible... it is just an electric circuit in end... the worse it can happen is breaks again... Thank you for watching!

  • @Robert-vi6tb

    I woud do the same, maybe ad 10mm epoxy around brakepoint, Now end of epoxy is the fragile point. Then ad some tape to move out the stress point a little. Great video, sorted.
