Die meisten Amis werden sich die anderen Teile auch angesehen haben, nur KZread stellt den 4 von 5 im Vordergrund. Die Reaktionen von denen lassen sie neugierig werden und wollen mehr wissen. Ich hoffe es, dass da mal die Bevölkerung mehr politisch in ihren Land aktiver werden. Trump wieder zum Präsidenten machen, wäre der Alptraum !

Hi, I´m from Germany and I can tell you Volker Pispers is unique. Sadly for all non native german speakers the translation is not always the best especially because you need to know a lot about german politics that´s why the audience are laughing sometimes because the connection he makes with some politicians bad decisions and some other issues. Volker Pispers is a very intelligent person, he knows a lot about society and politics. Without the american politics the all world would be a better place !!

I am shocked by this US-American ignorance. This couple seems to know absolutely nothing about the world, history and even their own country. These are all historical facts Volker is telling. But they seem not to understand anything from the video, they just smile but I see they don’t get anything. Start with part 1 please and play at 75% and read what he says. You may learn more than you ever did during school. You can check everything he says in history book as as well, everything is true and not really funny. Actually, it’s really sad what the USA did and it still creates many many problems today for all of us. Volker is not doing comedy, it’s German political satire and commentary, called cabaret in Germany.

You really expect some young person to know everything about events that mostly took place before they were born? Most people don't know a lot of history unless they develop an interest for it.

I guess I'm too old to understand YT-content-creators. They find something they say they like, something that entertained them. They find something that obviously gave a new perspective, educated them. But there is just zero interest in watching another part (than part 4 - counting from 1 to 5 is harder than I thought) of a 5 part video unless you pay them. I do understand it's their "job" to watch a video, to earn money. But they get paid by me watching them. And honestly I'm not going to watch another video of people who are not interested in learning something, in gaining a new perspective. You just lost (at least) one possible subscriber, but I wanted to tell you why you didn't make me hit that subscribe-button.

aehm, wheres part 1, 2 and 3. you miss the whole point of it if you just start at the end? this is kabaret, its a special form of comedy we rly like in germany, but in many other countries aswell. its political and shocking but funny at the same time.

The reason why people are laughing is because of the twist Pispers gives his wording, the sarcasm that is only meekly represented in the English translation. Nobody thinks that the events he describes are funny, but his perspective is irreverent and shed a light on the hypocrisy of the political world.

Why you start with part 4 of 5?? Makes no sense.

In its motivation (in the form of satire or polemics), political cabaret is socially critical, funny and entertaining and/or artistic and aesthetic.

I realize this is piling on, but 4 Canadian soldiers were killed and eight others were wounded in Afghanistan by a rogue U.S. pilot. The pilot admitted he disobeyed orders, but was cleared of misconduct. Any wonder the rest of the world doesn't trust you. I'll end here.

I have to say that the translation/subtitles do not hit the point exactly, everywhere But this guy still is a f*ckin genius summing up stuff in an offensive way to have you start overthinking your values

I wish we had that kind of "comedy" in America. Whoever will attempt this will need a team of very good lawyers, and writers who want to remain anonymous - but let's get this started

In german this kind of comedy is called 'political cabaret' ...it got a long tradition there.

It's called political Satire, not comedy. It's made to discuss hot political topics and criticize the government paired with humor to make it digestible but also to protect you legally from totalitarian regimes as you can always claim it was all just jokes.

This comedian is joking in multiple levels. Many laughters can be explained by distracted language. You need to be native speaking German to understand those jokes. They can not be translated. These word jokes are mixed with lots of sarcasm, irony and statements which can be translated.

Imaging, this more than 15 years old.

Wenn Du nicht faul und dumm wärst, hättest Du das in 30 Sekunden finden können. Er ist unter anderem an so Hirnseppel verzweifelt, die zu faul und zu dumm ... "... kommt von irgendwo so ein Hirnseppel daher" könnte von Volker sein.

Just fyi: Not all German comedians are THIS serious. This is even a far more political sub set of comedy, we call "kabarett" in Germany. If you wanna see how the complete opposite side of German comedy looks like, do yourselves a favor and look up "Johann König - Jesus Tagebuch" (or Jesustagebücher/Jesustagebuecher, if you have no "ü" key) 😉 I can laugh at that at least as much as I can for Pispers... 👍

It's political satire.(Hard to find it funny if you only read subtitles) George Carlin and Bill Hicks did do a great job at it. Nowadays I guess these jokes are canceled. Also not allowed anymore in Germany, because it make people think about the absurdity of politics and war.
