You know, that is the problem. In a fight you are supposed to punch your opponent, right? But when you get to the situation you know that if you punch your opponent then they will "kill" you (undrestand knock you out with two "BJPs") then ... well ... what to do?

To be honest in this fight he looked awful, he got punched a ton of times, he just had a stronger chin than Oezdemir in this case. I think he looked better against Reyes

Unorthodox, I agree, but very effective. You say "by luck" then I must ask you to change your eye doctor. And by "being hit and wobbling", lol, this is exactly Jirka. He is the kind of a fighter you never want to really hit, because that typically means your match is going to be over very soon. The only moment happened with King Mo in their first encounter. When he caught Jiří with that excellent right hook and sent him home. But the problem had been analyzed, the team has taken measures and Jiří is always the first one saying "Yeah, that was a stupid thing I did." After all, he is that kind of a "pit bull" fighter. Have you ever seen two pit bulls fighting? They are literally killing each other, but they are waving their tales, happy. They are doing what they were born for. Jirka is the same. Ok, imagine you got lucky to switch him off. When he gets up he would say "Fuck, that was a bomb, wow .. thank you for that!" That is what makes him being another level, partly.

Like with izzy. Its a huge pay of but you gotta know what you're doing and certainly these guys do. Also jiri has crazy reach so even if his opponent goes in for the head strike he can beat them to it before they even get into range

He needs to unlearn some of his extraneous movements if he wants to destroy John Jones. I think he can do it. Gustafson nearly had Jones in their first fight. He was way out of whack in the first round. either it was he didn't have respect for Volkan or maybe the UFC, or he may have been nervous, like your first day on a new job. and i don't mean that he meant disrespect to Volakn or UFC, but was making light of his first fight.. ya know? and Volkan isn't a fighter to do that with.

Nah it was a brutal knockout, but he somehow surpassed even himself with that Reyes knockout.

I like Jiri but his stance and weird motions are unnecessary. He looked better in the Reyes fight but still has those motions like he's trying to mind game his opponent. Very gimmicky

Bro volkan has ridiculous power, he connected some solid punches and couldn't knock jiri out... if Volcan can't do it then Jamahal can't do it...

for being all this samurai warrior or whatever, hes very sloppy of a fighter and his instincts are not great. also, he throws a lot of flailing punches, no use of power from his legs and hips and core. at 205 though with those little gloves im sure its easy to get ko'ed so he got it done but he really needs to train his striking more and learn how to throw and create better angles and not get hit as much. glover may ko him he hits him with some of the shots he took in this fight. too much jumping in with hands down and straight toward them, no head movement. he gets hit to land one it seems which got it done, but damn i dunno who im betting on. no bet, i think.
