Vole Gets Stay of Death
Ғылым және технология
I know that I hear "Yeah I would have killed him!" I say, "Are you sure about that?" He's a cute, gentle little creature and we just couldn't. I even ask Mrs Nutnfancy if she'd off him with a .22 right then right there. You'll see her answer. I figure if I'm going to let him go I'd feed him strawberries to help him out.

@@klinec38 True old school. I remember watching that video when he threw that out. Later I got both patches. Good stuff.

He got an A for his gear check.
Apparently the average lifespan of a vole is 3 to 6 months, I think I understand why.
Nutnfancy should a table top review on that rodent

2nd kind of cute
My dog caught a vole two weeks ago. He ripped it apart in the house and left the guts and blood for me to clean up. I was not happy.
We had an invasion of prairie dogs last year. As cute as they were, they had to go. I didn't enjoy it, but it was necessary and I was relieved when the property was rid of them.

I've been in prairie dog territory and after a very short time, I understood exactly why people use them as target practice
He felt no need to hide as he knew he was with a well armed Sheepdog!

I was at work one day and a coworker found a baby rat on the floor in the stock room it was a Sears, it was so young it still was slimy from birth, anyways, he picked it up and chucked it in the garbage can. I didn't have the heart to let it starve to death in a trashcan so I took it out back, outside in the parking lot and crushed it with a piece of asphalt, I apologized to it before I crushed it, but I ended it's life instantly. That broke my heart to do, and haunted me for a long time, but at the time I knew it was the most humane thing to do. Yesterday marked the two year anniversary of my mom's passing, she had a massive stroke outta nowhere and was only alive because of machines and medication. When my stepdad asked what ai think we should do, I said pull the plug, if there is no way of maintaining a quality of life then I know she would rather us pull the plug. That was so hard, she was only 59 years old, and I definitely wasn't ready for her to go, but I k ew that if I truly loved her then the right thing to do is what she would have wanted. Watching her take her last gasps for air and passing on was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Sometimes the right thing to do is not very pleasant.

No. Ending or refusing aid to human life that otherwise could have been saved is immoral.
@90whatever
10 ай бұрын
@@shan3rdI don't think you closely read what he said. His mom was only being kept artifically alive by machines and chemicals...no "saving" from that kind of stroke. It is a super tough call but I hope if I'm ever in that situation someone can make that tough call on me. Take what organs and tissue from me that can be used to help others and that's that. It's immoral to keep someone suffering and to allow that to continue if thereis no surviving. Mercy and compassion are the goal.

@@90whatever suffering is not immoral. After all, Jesus Christ suffered worse than any of us. He alone is the source of all life and He alone decides when a life is to come to an end.

@@shan3rd suffering, no consciousness, with no real diagnosed survival and life is immoral. Jesus was being executed in a horrific manner. I'm sure he would have appreciated some wine to dull the suffering. Completely false analogy. This is a medical situation he's talking about.
Once he realized u weren’t a threat, just thought hey let’s go home, u carried me this far let’s go
the vole gonna be doing gun reviews
Oh boy, that put a smile on my face - I don't know anything about those critters, but that one's got one heck of a laid back attitude.
He's waiting for an invite, to head out to the desert with you, to pop some groundhogs!
That thing looked sick....didnt run away.....looked like it probably only had hours left to live anyway from the way it was shaking
that was adorable, made my day. Thanks for sharing.
New patch "TNP Voleunteer"
That's a great video to see in these crazy days. Needed that 🙏
New TNP cast members
From what I looked up on these, they have surprisingly short life-spans. Also, some of their characteristics include empathy and comforting/grooming of other mistreated voles - that's what it says. They are related to hamsters and lemmings. I never even knew about them until this post, and I looked it up.
It's so cute :) Lolololol from relocating, to relocating, to going back home, to giving it a once in a lifetime buffet of sweets
Thank you for being kind.
It’s really cute. Lol I’m surprised it didn’t run. He’s like hanging out with you. 😂
Smart little pest. Play cute and gentle and humans won't kill me.
Good call on the "stay", turns out he's a friendly neighbor, good with dogs, well mannered. Better than most people nowadays.
I was cracking up every time Nutin’ would relocate the little guy 😅 When he turned up on a plate of cut strawberries, I thought he had adopted a new family pet!! That would have been cool. It looked like it would have made good pet.
We must never lose our empathy because at that point we will be the same as our enemies.
They loosen up the soil.
Clearly bro is a TNP-er and wants to join the crew!
that was maces' way of trying to tell you that she wants a puppy companion friend. would be lonely being the only dogness in the house.
Silly vole. Gonna get nomnomed by everything. Low key Nutn feeling responsible for the vole.
Turn em into a spy 😂
Good on you for helping that boy out
Easy pickings for any bird of prey…poor fella.
The dang thing likes you and didn't want to leave you
Apparently he eats when he gets nervous and stressed. Been there, done that.
The owl is on the shed. 😳
Get a Savanah Cat.
Good call on letting him go 👍👍
That was good nutn, I'm getting softer in my older years also.
As I grew older, I value all life more. Even the @#$! coyote that got our cat that was my fault. I just get no satisfaction out of seeing anything die.
This might be why voles rarely survive more than a few months in the wild (according to google). Good luck, lil fella.
Mom, where's my hamster?
I've only dealt with about 8 of these guys and this is the most calm and non violent I've ever seen a vole. I wonder if he's kinda special.

No doubt. When Sally the black lab was about 2, I sent her after one in the yard. It bit her nose when she sniff checked it. After that, she grabs and does a quick head snaps and crushes 'em at same time. 21 kills was her best year... at 14 years old I doubt she'll break that record.
My cat always brings them to the house, I can't kill them either.... but my Dachshund sure does!!!
He is just trying to earn a living. Same as the rest of us.
The voles by me dont have tails and you can barley see the eyes. They are almost like a mole but dont have rhe digging hands and are more porpostional. Its interesting to see the difference.
its obvious this animal is sick.
You just really screwed up that area with disease.
That is more than likely a sick animal.
* God will remember that *
Thanks for the video nutn can't wait for the next one
National Geofancy up in here lol. All creatures have a place and reason. I needed this in my timeline
they wreck my lawn i need nutn to come catch one in St. George.
I catch and release the creepy crawlies. I doubt I'll ever be able to hurt a soft and fuzzy.
You have a pet now!
A Vole bunk in the bunker?😊
nutn you know you made a friend that day even though you wanted to yeet him.
Great vid tnp
Today on LTC Nutnfancy, domesticating local rodentry. (Not talking about Tia's Chihuahuas down the street... relax.)
Looks like hes injured
Next video: Had to relocate him again. Inside the house now. He's our house vole. Good 2nd kind of cool, good SAWC. Full tabletop review coming up soon :P
….screw it keep um…
EDC rodent review incoming
Nut N Fancy mascot. I bet he would love living in the bunker.
i think they are blind. putting them on the ground he can't see where to go.
Good job
Introduce him to a Cat.
Мысль понятна... Я не смог тебя убить, пусть змеи тебя сожрут!
Is it hurt?
Even though I have an amazing arsenal I couldn't take out a deer I don't think unless the world changed and I was hungry and had to survive. Animals are cool it's people that suck.
you should now change your channel name to the mole whisperer!
Pew pew .22 flu…
Feed him to a hawk.
Its always good to build up the karma reserves...
I got a BCA 22 WMR upper for my AR. It's all sighted in and ready to take out problems like groundhogs etc. So there was a young one about 40 yards from my (very rural) front porch 2 days ago. Perfect target for my new problem-solver. The dang thing was just minding his own business and enjoying a perfectly beautiful summer day in August. So in the end, we BOTH enjoyed the day. But if he starts digging up the hayfield, it'll be game on. I enjoyed that you basically did the same thing. Kudos!
Looks like maybe you squeezed his rear legs a bit too hard and broke them. Seems to be having a bit of trouble walking when you put him down
Didpatch it
👍
... dude, what are you going to name him??... Gaston is a nice name.. or maybe Morocco 😬👍🇺🇸
Relocate to somewhere about 5mi away 😂
Maybe this video will get 1M views like the other one 😂
I've seen mice act exactly like that after they ate some rat poison.. and then they walk around docile for awhile and finally die somewhere.
I probably would have killed it. Killing baby mice and chipmunks are definitely up there with my absolute least favorite things. Come to think of it, the only things I like killing are parasites like ticks and yellow jackets 😂
Lights out!
I think you caught someone's pet lol
Can you please keep up updated thabks
I WANT ONE
I think you might of squished him
Are the edible ?

Death
I'm a heartless prick towards most rodents. I'll leave it at that. But, good on you for keeping to your code, seems the little guy was either too stupid to realize his potential danger or knew what you were about.
Let it go
Where is your cat, oh he who speaks of functional systems? LOL
Execution, for the greater human good. The rest of its kind breed like mad already.
Nutn: "Should I kill him? Nah, let's let him join our picknick!" 😂 Love it Nutn, it is one of God's creatures after all.
I think you are getting soft
👎👎
I instinctually stomp on them in the garden, the ones Sally the black lab does not grab and snap. Organic balsam fir oil spray repels them quite well. Sold on FleaBay. Multiple solar powered sound and vibration tools work a little. Yes, it's a Junior what did you name it... Snake Snack... Crow Cookie... Hawkburger?
Kill it! No mercy
Should have gave him a cookie before you sent him off
