    Gran video, gran avión, y sobre todo grandes pilotos, salu2 desde Ciudad de México, Dios te bendiga Noé a donde quiera que vayas y con la nave y/o tripulación que vayas. ^_^

    @larrybueno En unas aeroolineas, el reciclan del "no smoking sign", significa que el avion va a hacer un aterrizaje o un despegue. Cuando los auxilares de volar oyen el ruido, saben que es tiempo para terminar las preparaciones para el despegue o atterizaje y sientanse. En este situacion, es possible que el volar tenia un pasajero, un empleo por ejemplo, o un auxilar de volar que necesitaban ir algun citio. Ojala que este informacion te ayude.

    It's a cargo aircraft so the chance of it is at max gross weight is very slim. The cargo volume is full way before the max gross weight is reached. As long as there is runway, why is everyone so concern about braking. This is good piloting compare to the people hauler you see everyday.

    @BrianJDeCamp si, yo se lo de reciclar el no smoking sign, que de acuerdo al SOP de la compania normalmente se hace luego del before take off checklist durante el rodaje y poner primer set de flaps durante la aproximacion, por eso me surgio la pregunta, por que esto es un avion de carga, pero ahora que lo mencionas si puede ser que iban algunos "pasajeros" detras, donde los aviones de carga suelen tener algunas sillas.

    @asif555b if your vertical speed is almost zero at the touchdown, you risk the tires to not "attach" to the ground as they should, specially if the runway is wet. In wet conditions, the pilots try to do what they call a "positive touchdown", which is basically smash the plane to the runway (of course, metaphorically). People tend to thing this kind of touchdowns as "hard ones" but this is how they should be in such situations. There's nothing bad in asking if you don't know =) glad I can help!

    He landed like this on purpose because there was a long way to where the aircraft had to turn off.. Great landing!!

    Excelente video, de los mejores que he visto de 732,lo mejor es que es de jets antiguos y en HD que casi no se ven, ojala pudieras hacer uno de un 727, no te digo que de 707 pues estan casi extintos pero seria una maravilla. Me causa curiosidad que en el min 11:52 el F/O recicla el "no smoking sign" como si fuera un vuelo de pasajeros, sabes por que? PD: aterrizo mas alla de las marcas de 2500ft pero sumamente suave!!! :)

    You are almost right, but it is important when runway is contaminated. In this case there was dry. Also on this type of aircraft you have SPEEDBRAKES which after touchdown or by manual input rapidly decrease amount of lift on wings which helps for better braking and prevents situation which you have on mind. And the last - REVERSER which is most efficient way to brake on runway independent of brakes and speedbrakes. Regards :)

    I'm not a pilot, but there would initially be more friction between the tires and the runway if they landed hard.

    Nice, smooth landing, but missed the touchdown zone (the first 3k ft of runway with markings every 500ft) Not good practice. Granted the runway was long and dry, but if it was wet and the weather bad, I'd have gone around. You don't have to nail it right on the aiming point, but you wanna have the plane on the ground before those markings run out.
