My favorite part of these is how emotional the family/friends get for their loved one when someone turns around.

The thing is you can hear it’s heavily tuned for the clip so maybe on the day it was too pitchy…hence their unimpressed expressions. Just a guess though.

John Holliday singing Misty is just flawless vocals. I would listen to his albums every single day. He sang better live than any single one of those judges with auto tune and John Legend knew it. Liquid gold voice.

John Holiday slayed that song, I mean the fact that Mr. Johnny Mathis was ALREADY an insanely accomplished singer with an insane range, this dude just went out there and pumped out some soprano range and killed it lol

This was an excellent ensamble of voice talent. The first girls voice at only 12 - stellar. Pillowtalk - I loved, but the last man stood out the most for me.

When I finally saw the last contestant (John Holiday), he reminded me of someone I had just seen and heard this past week. Sure enough, he was in the Live from the Met broadcast of "The Hours" from last Friday. That "Misty" was amazing.
