ooh boy do i have a developing story on this so a bit after i did this i started finding piles of 2 bones in the shape of an x later on the radar started picking up many entities and then i saw it for the first time though i only saw the red light it made at first eventually there was some red light poking through one of the bases walls and welp there was a familiar looking skull clipping through the wall looking at me and beforehand this thing disappeared the moment you looked at it though this time it didn't (probably because whatever point the game was checking to see if you looked at it was covered by the wall) long story short i have a decent amount of footage relating to this dude

Isn't it crazy that VoTV is a free demo with all this quality and content it feels like a 20 dollar Steam game now

5:18 for the longest time i wanted mr nose to add this as a feature where if you grabbed the gun and loaded it with ammo then tried to shoot it it'd just blow up in your hands and send you flying backwards, absolutely amazing, this update in general looks spectacular i needa give it a shot Really hope joel gets back to streaming this game since the new update

Watching your videos, the only thing I can think is "I can't wait until Joel encounters this and shits himself". Edit: He microwaved the skull and nothing happened, he unknowingly prevented the haunting by reloading the game

you know something's about to go wrong when a half life 2 zombie scream plays

One of my friends told me about the skull and what to do with it. I thought it sounded terrible, but they were like, "Nah, man it's chill." Their interpretation of the creature just hanging around and dropping bones around the base was some way of thanking you for releasing it. I'm inclined to agree, because I summoned it after I learned you can sell anything you put in the item box. All those bones are five points a piece. The bone harvest paid for quite a few upgrades! Not like it's trying to hurt you because it easily could. I had it appear inside the base a few times... in the walls and floor, but still.

playing it rn, and the first event i had was the blood red sky the whole night, im learning to embrace the game and try not to get paranoid but it definitely takes some time XD otherwise, another cool video, now i know not to microwave a random skull if im not ready to face the consequences

Spoiler below The creatures aren't a threat. They look like Wendigo and follow the player but dissapear when you get close, leaving behind bones. Their purely for paranoia lol

I'm not gonna lie, I have been spooked by it more times than I can count already. It's viewable ingame yeah! Maybe I can show it off in the next video, using a camera the player can point it at themselves and look at the video feed.

I actually preferred the lack of a proper model shadow since the new model can break the immersion with the animations. Makes for some good spooks though.

SPOILER There is a second wendigo skull buried underground just a tiny bit southwest of the base (headed toward quebec, but not yet past juliette) I wonder if there are more? I also wonder if burning multiple at once leads to them becoming angier...?

man barely getting situated to 0.6 and already i can tell this is gonna be a heck of a time. you should look into the tutorial too, see some of whats going on there.

I had a pretty fun first encounter when I microwaved this skull. The Wendigo actually appeared inside the base in the side room of the new garage layout. I was able to look directly at them and even approach them from within the hallway. I had some of the alien cutouts propped in front of the desk window and was able to get a nice picture, but I never got to print it or even see it because I died to a seperate event involving a a very deep hole after not being able to save for almost 20 minutes. Now, after doing the event again, I've found a larger animal skull while digging (possibly a horse skull?) and I'm excited to see if that does anything spooky...

There's ammo hidden in the garage for the gun you found at that satellite

i love how this game uses source engine assets, but it clearly doesnt seem to be in the source engine

so after i turned the lights and stuff back on after a power failure the radar picked up a (hostile? it was a red dot and made an alarm sound) i went to investigate and theres just a door out in the open freestanding i couldn't open it but it was there so i recorded it and now have a video of this strange door i guess edit just saw a wisp for the first time edit 2 yeah im gonna keep doing this theres a locations with high emf readings crashed car in the river at -220 x and 310 y big log at 380 x 230 y edit 3 welp weeping angel mannequins exist now specifically the one in the walking pose edit 4 well if you light these mannequins on fire they not only move in front of you but will also walk at you and will absolutely floor you

Simply getting the skull also gets the event rolling, but it's much more tame. Ever since I got the skull without microwaving it, I've seen the totems (very rarely) randomly appear and I've been getting some messages during sleep, unfortunately I never get to see what they say, because they appear for like, a split second and always at a time I'm not expecting them. No visual appearances of the Wendigo though.

Looking at the shadow you cast does Dr. Kell have a new model?

I used to stream this game. I went 3 or 4 nights with that event active, after one of my friends got me to nuke the skull. It ends when you quit, and not before.

Useless fact: Sometimes this game won't boot up if discord is opened due Unreal engine 4 thinking that Discord is a cheat software, because of discord overlay.

Daddy/Mommy Wendigo got really into you after the summoning him/her with the microwave~ Shame I will have to restart my game that I finally got most upgrades and a Kerfus by day 14. Oh well... Exciting all the same!
