Thank you Kevin.
Outstanding piece, Larry! Our veterans continually say they aren’t heroes, the ones that fell are the heroes. I can say I agree ….. to a point! I feel ALL that serve are heroes, as are you, Larry, for your contribution to preserving history with your work.

Thank you sir for your kind words, I'm glad you got to watch this on the 74th anniversary of the start of the Korean War.
My signal CORPS father (1923-2002) was a WW2 retread in this conflict. I was born (Jily 1952) 10 months, after his wounded return with his eighth purple heart

Thanks for watching sir, please share this video. So many people have no idea what happened during the Korean War. this is one of the best resources available. Sadly most of these Korea Veterans are now gone from this earth.
Beautiful work Larry. You've taken a dozen interviews and spliced together pieces of their conversation that compliment one another to build a rich story of these men's Korean experience, and their beliefs today.

The magic of editing, Chet. Actually I probably pulled from 30 to 40 stories to make this film. The history in this film is vital to our future.
Dad, USMC B/1/11 stationed in Tsingtao China 1948-49. Also, fought at Pusan Perimeter, Inchon, Seoul and Chosin. God Bless them all.
WOW Larry I honestly never knew!! I am speechless what an amazing and wonderful work you’ve done. May the peace of GOD rest upon each one.

This is one of those hidden stories, but it's really not hidden. We lost almost as many troops in Karee in three years as we did in Vietnam in 10 years. Ashamed to call it a forgotten war.
If you have never been there you can’t imagine how cold it is there during the winter. I did three consecutive tours there at Camp Greaves doing day recon and night ambushes there during the winter.
This is great, Larry! Thank you!

You are very welcome!!
Freedom isnt Free..It has been paid for by these men an those before them. As I say it now an will continue to say it Thankyou an when I see a vet I stop what im doing an Thank them for all that they did. When I met my first boss Stan Luellen an I found out he was a vet I hugged him an thanked for his service in Korea he cried cause I was the first person in my generation to thank him I was 14 an that was in the summer of 1988. Stan has long passed now an watching this brings back those memories with him when I was kid an him yelling at me calling me an idjit . Love you Stan I'll be seeing soon when the Lord calls upon to go home. Ty Larry for posting this...

The first girlfriend I ever had Valerie Mace her Grandpa Bob Mace (edit* Robert R. Mace, I found his picture on google) was a Korean War veteran. He went on to start Maces Grocery Store in Pendleton Indiana and it was the only big grocery store in my small town growing up.

@40:11 as he begins to cry all I can think is the phrase "no one kills or is killed" we are all Eternal and created by God and we are all destined to return to the Father after spiritual completion through Christ. If not in this life, then the next. Most Christians I speak with disagree with reincarnation but for me it's the only thing that makes Christianity and this world make sense.
where do I click to do two thumbs up?
