I always tend to have a favorite for each video but there was no way to choose this time. Layne with his killer arrangement and percussion, Cesar channeling his inner warrior, Eli the rock god and his amazing tech work, J spitting those bars, and then our dark earthquake god with THREE B0s with the first one lasting 15 seconds. VoicePlay+Viking=EPIC!!

My favorite part of VP, other than the mind-blowing singing, is EVERYONE gets to shine. I knew you weren’t prepared for this. None of us were. 🤯🤯🤯

Don't know if you noticed, but the camera angles on Geoff are wild. He looks like a huge, hulking guy, really menacing. Almost every shot of Geoff is looking up at him, and when you see him as part of the group he's positioned to look like a giant. Even Layne always looks shorter, small by comparison... it fit the voice and the persona...

I know how you like Avi Kaplan. Wouldn't it be cool to see Avi sing as guest with voiceplay? But 2 dragons (Avi and Geoff), in same cave? WOW. Hope it's a big ass cave!😂😂😂❤

Finally Nick! I think we were all waiting to see your face when the rap hit, lol. I love your chat comments: "It's coming... " "Wait for it... " Vikings had poetic "rap" battles called Flyting, so in my opinion this is a modern take on that. Great react as always! ❤💜💙 Edit - and the FIERCENESS they All brought to this! OMG!

Before battle the Vikings had a ritual called "flyting" where they would exchange "poetic verses" of insults to provoke their opponents. So even though J rapping isn't flyting, I thought it was a pretty good nod to Viking history, intentional or not. It made this version even better in my opinion, and I'm not a rap fan lol

Instead of "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!", the phrase is now "No one expects J. None's rap in Valhalla Calling!"

I've heard the word 'berserker' from several reactors during this song. Seeing the wide-eyed glare from J, Eli, and Cesar several times in the video, I have to agree. I've also see just about all of them headbang during it -- honestly, so am I -- and most of them drop the headphones when J None start the rap. If you watch their other Viking song My Mother Told Me from about a year ago, you'll see that J, Geoff, Eli, and Layne all had the same facepaint designs in both videos and similar clothing. Cesar was not in the first video but he is wearing the same hooded cloak Jose Rosario wore.

Had me laughing when you said "It helps to sell a Viking song when you have a Viking descendant." When you took your headphones off when J. None started to rap. It just gets better and better.

I’m constantly at an agonising awe with these artists. They’re not basking in their glory after a well done video/performance but push harder for greater heights on their next one. Layne is nasty in the most positive way. Literal facemelt. And to think that they don’t have a label backing them, makes the results even more baffling. Thank you so much for a great reaction

Not sure why you didn't see the rap section coming, since Vikings invented Rap battles. They were called Flyts, where 2 guys would basically diss eachother in ryhme.

I always love your reactions! I heard one reactor explain that it's extraordinarily difficult to rap in acapella, but yes, they did it beautifully! They all did a beautiful job!

All of them were incredible, but I especially loved 'fierce Cesar'! He doesn't get a chance to show his power that often. And even Layne managed to add some grit to his usually sweet, mellow tone during his solo! Eli's verse a couple octaves over everyone else just awed. And of course, Geoff ... well, he Geoffed. Nuff said.
