AleXa is actually from the US, but she lives and works in S Korea for the last few years. She reached out to VoicePlay and asked for a collab - this is the result. Geoff (pronounced Jeff) is the bass and he has a 5 octave range. No one was staying in their own lane. Geoff hit a D5, which I think is the high note both Eli and AleXa were hitting. They're crazy and wonderful.
There were literally moments in this song when I couldn't tell the difference between Eli and AleXa. Their voices take on a very similar pitch when they get up really high in those harmonies. It's pretty crazy. Everybody really took it up a notch for this one. Layne slayed with those sounds!

This was such an epic cover of this song, glad you enjoyed it. The harmonies between Eli's amazing rock tenor voice, Cesar's equally amazing but softer vocals along with Alexa were fantastic. As for Layne's beat boxing and Geoff's ridiculous 5 octave range, they sound incredible, though some have decided neither of them can be quite human being able to produce those otherworldly sounds and notes! Hope to see more VoicePlay and Geoff reactions, I'll be here for all of it! 👍😊
Always here for anything VoicePlay / Geoff Castellucci. AleXa filmed her part in Koria and VoicePlay did their individual parts in front of a Green Screen. Then they put it all together. VoicePlay used to be only 5 guys now down to 4. The bass Geoff Castellucci has his own channel where he does Low Bass Covers.
The Behind the Scenes was hilarious - the Voiceplay boys had a bit of a hard time picking up the choreography. AleXa was green screened in Korea with her backup dancers, and Eli's magic added her reflection in the floor in the finished version.

There were five in VoicPlay for a long time, but Earl left in 2020 I think, then J.None left to join the navy, as you say, so they were only †hree but then they found Cesar who is now a full member.
