@@lounaannajung4454 Yes! In an interview he did sometime back in 2019, he mentioned that he quit SM and worked as a vocal coach for a while before joining CUBE and eventually Pentagon. He went on to mention that even to that day, he was still a vocal coach to CUBE trainees, including pre-debut (G)I-DLE!

Jinho as well as Pentagon deserve the acknowledgement. They are brilliant artists. I am so proud of them as well as every Universe.

He is Jo Jinho, one of main vocals of kpop idol named Pentagon. He trained more than 8 years, is a vocal trainer and musical actor. If you realize, he tried to express the lyrics through his face expression and his acting is chef kiss. I think he's more comfortable with high notes where he can hit high notes effortlessly(?) compared to low notes. Thank you so much for the reaction.

Jinho definitely excells in his higher range, which is why Pentagon's leader Hui once said he doesn't worry about high notes when he composes songs for the group. Pentagon is a group full of talented members! They have an amazing acapella cover of into the unknown as well as live acapella versions of their songs Do or Not and Shine. Jinho does act in musicals, is a vocal coach at his company and one of Pentagon's main vocals. He has a cover series called Magazine Ho with a ton of amazing covers (e.g When I was your man, 오르막길 (it's a duet with another member who also acts in musicals), Lay me down (also a duet with another member) and I think of you). Hui is another one of Pentagon's main vocals (also acts in musicals) with a very distinct voice. There are also some beautiful duo performances by him an Jinho. He is a vocal teacher as well, he teaches other idols.

Personally me, jinho has the most best vocal skill and ability in kpop idol. So amazing. He always sing easily and I love to learn how he execute certain note to be nicely heard. Do react to him more. or you can listen to his whole magazineho cover. Jo Jinho 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Jinho and Hui - two of the BEST vocalists in k-pop. Periodt.

Jinho once said that he was able to sing this song thanks to his group's leader Hui who kept composing high pitch songs and giving all high parts to Jinho. Hui shared that when he was working on dr Bebe, he called to Jinho and asked how high he can go 😂 the song is very high pitched. Anyway Hui did several awesome things before he enlisted, one is Pentagon's live performance for Basquiat with 6 stages high note sang on a sore throat.

the shoulder thing you guys mentioned....he only really does it here in this particular cover. i think its a korean style of enunciation thing or korean musical thing. His other covers are super relaxed, yet singing suberbly too.

Aaah watching this made me feel so proud of Jinho, he's definitely outside the realm of kpop and should be praised way more than he is. He's not just a good main vocal, he's absolutely insane! Pentagon is a group of talented members~ JInho and Hui are the main vocalists, but other members in charge of vocals are also able to sing very well~, Jinho, of course, has the widest range of vocal!

Fun fact: Jinho has a great voice since, always. But now, on his break due to military, Pentagon members said Jinho has greatly improved his vocal techniques. I hope that when pentagon has a comeback with Jinho, you guys can also react to the whole group. Pentagon are an extremely talented group with many incredible vocalists including Jinho. Jinho is actually a vocal coach and has participated in many Broadway shows, and Pentagon as a whole act and sing a lot. They are a very incredible group to get into, I promise their vocals do not dissapoint.

Oh, my goodness! My jaw was on the floor and I had chills. I hope he goes on King of Masked Singer to be King. Edit: oops, he has gone on! And he was incredible with both rounds.

Actually many of Cube artists (BTOB, Pentagon, & CLC members) are quite active in musical theater in South Korea. Those who aren’t in musical theater are generally active in acting in dramas, movies, & entertainment shows or in writing/producing music. In Pentagon, Jinho, Hui, & YeoOne(Changgu) are musical actors; Yanan, Hongseok, & Wooseok are screen actors. In BTOB, Seo Eunkwang & Lee Changsub are musical actors (and great entertainment artists) and Lee Minhyuk & Yook Sungjae are big screen actors. I would *highly* recommend listening to *ANY* BTOB or Pentagon songs and reacting. They are all amazing songs.

Jinho is my favourite singer period. he always makes me feel a range of emotions when he sings.

he's part of musical theatre, he's lead singer, he's a vocal coach, he was part of the band when he was in the army and he's our beloved everything, I mean this as "universe", our fan name.....AH and I love this channel 🥰🥰🥰🥰

He doesnt have many opportunity to sing in low register. His group's songs are very high pitched and he is the one to get all the highest parts.

Ok I think your reaction is wonderful. Jinho is my favorite from Pentagon. I hope you have had a chance to listen to his many other covers. This is actually my favorite cover song he ever did. And I really love them all. But this song really grabs me. He did amazing. I was shocked the first time I listened to this. I didn't know he could get his voice that deep because I'm use to his higher range. He is an artist who really really gets so deeply into the song he's singing. His emotions show. I love it. I listened many many times. Thank you for appreciation of such a great music artist. I hope enjoy many more talented k-pop artists as well. And now I need to go listen to him uninterrupted. Lol. Jo Jinho trained for 8 years at another company before joining Pentagon. He already demonstrated to be a promising vocalist on his debut in 2010!! I think your old company lost one of the greatest vocalists in Korea. The first time i heard him sing was with the cover of When i was your man in 2017, and i was like OMFG!!! I don't know much about vocals, but he sure has a lot of technique. I've been to a Pentagon concert too and he's a GOD on stage! He is one of my favorite singers, thank you so much for doing this react. ❤ If you want to watch the other covers he has released, they are titled "Magazine Ho" because he releases them every month.

That company did him so dirty, after debuting him with the legends who thought they'd waste his valuable 7years. I am just grateful he debuted again and didn't resort to his plan to stop singing.

jinho is definitely special, one of my favourite performance of this song (and as an andrew lloyd webber fan i've heard this song too many times) if there's a korean act you should check out, it would be the kpop group mamamoo or the veteran r&b group big mama on killing voice!

I think "The Game" by pentagon would also be interesting to react to, or since it might be hard to find full performances in good quality, just Jinho singing the intro of the game live would be possible too alternatively: Pentagon covering Aespa's Savage on "it's live" - I promise it's a really good one!!
