​@@Jooney91 Wonwoo, Scoups, and Jun definitely didn't get much to sing at all in the medley. Then we have the people who sang a few lines like Mingyu, Jeonghan, Minghao, and Hoshi. I think Woozi belongs in the group with people who sang a lot though? Him, Joshua, Dino, Vernon, Seungkwan, and DK had a lot of chances to showcase their voices in the medley compared to the other half of the group

DK is definitely one of the best vocalists in KPOP. It sometimes makes me sad that he isn't as appreciated as others.

Joshua the member you guys got surprised from speaking English, is from LA. Vernon the rapper you guys complimented for singing in the previous part is also American. There are also 2 other members who are from China. Its actually pretty common for non Koreans to be in a K-pop group now. I love Malia’s Kpop vocalist group. I would choose those three too. I am just not familiar with the other dude… he is probably very good too. Fun fact! The last song they ended on, aju NICE, is actually their encore song at concerts. Them leaving before coming back to sing the song is actually a reference to the numerous times they thought they would be able to catch a break at the concert before the beat just starts and they have to scramble and run back on stage. I think many of the clips of it are titled 'endless aju nice' so if ever you want to witness the chaos, feel free.

Vernon (the one who said "stream darling, darling", a member of the hiphop/rap team) was born but not raised in America. Seungkwan (the one who hit that really high note in darling, also the new one added to your Kpop group lol) and DK (your favorite) are both main vocals in the vocal team! The kinda short guy that had his arms crossed is Woozi and he is the vocal team leader and a lead vocal... Woozi also produces and writes almost all of seventeen's songs.

Actually, the member who caught your attention is DK (Dokyeom). He is a great singer. You would be shocked if you will know he is also a musical actor who plays King Arthur. And you are absolutely right, they all are good singers. Moreover, as you said about the rapper who switch to vocals, oh boy, all the rappers of the group can sing HAHAHA shocking, right? Your (and our) favorite DK is actually a really good dancer too. He actually majored in dance in his arts high school instead of voice. He sings that way even while doing complicated choreography. Love him so much.

I have been a kpop fan for nearly 10 years. These boys are some of the most impressive talents to come through the south korean music industry. They literally changed the standard for dance skills for idols and are considered the gold star standard for dancing in kpop. They consistently deliver perfect performances while also have AMAZING live vocals. They have some of the most difficult choreography in the industry and still do phenomenal live vocals, something many other groups don’t even attempt. You should definitely check out a live stage from them so you can see them sing while they dance.

Joshua and Vernon are their major english speakers of the group and then you have some up and coming like Seungkwan and Mingyu. There is also Woozi who can speak english and fully understands. He can read even, but doesn't really show his skills. Anyway, Joshua was born in the US and raised in LA for 18 years before going to Korea. While Vernon was born in America, but raised in Korea. His mother made sure to speak english in the house while he grew up.

Please react to their performance dancing and singing! I'm a 52-year old mom and just took my 13-year-old to see them perform in Atlanta. I was blown away! I am now a huge fan! super talented group and yes DK!

I think it will be fun for you guys to watch "Seventeen Woozi in Recording Studio" and see how raw their voices are and see how they decided on the singing techniques for different purposes. Cuz I noticed every member had their own characteristic that works for their voice. P.s Woozi (the guy who crossed his arms all the time) is SEVENTEEN main producer and the leader of the vocal team. He's the one who directs their recording process mostly.

An interesting fact, the guy (DK) whose voice you guys liked the most was actually very insecure with his voice when they first debut (and until about 2018). He didn't think his voice was good enough and comparable to Seungkwan (the guy whose voice you like 2nd most). Now, he loves his voice and lets his voice run freely.

DK and Seungkwan are such fantastic vocalists - very consistent, so much control, the technique is 100% there and you can tell they both practise a lot (as in it's not just a case of them being good at singing and then being praised for it all the time, then never practise because they rely only on natural talent). They are both the perfect mix of natural talent and hard practice. Plus they sing _like that_ while doing Seventeen-level choreos. So stable. Also, they not only suit pop music but could genuinely hold their own in theatre/musicals (I mean DK actually had a whole musical where he played the main character and sang live) and not many kpop vocalists could do that as well, even some main vocalist positions couldn't. Both DK and Seungkwan are generally underrated as main vocalists in the kpop industry, considering how much main vocalists usually get, unless you are a carat or vocal coach. I'm a multistan but honestly I can't think of that many vocalists who can measure up to them. I can think of Kihyun from Monsta X and a few people from Exo and NCT. Also Jongho from Ateez is incredible. Anyway, long story short: DK and Seungkwan are INCREDIBLE vocalists (not just suited for pop but other things too). They are almost criminally underrated in the kpop industry, especially because people mainly know Seventeen for their choreographies/synchronisation or even variety. Seventeen in general was underrated vocally, especially before this Killing Voice video came out. They are all pretty competent singers, even the members without vocal positions.

The 2 guys you really liked, DK(the one in the black jean jacket) and Seungkwan(the blonde in the grey jacket), they’ve got some absolutely beautiful duets that I’m going to link in this comment. On a technical level, IU is actually not that great. She sounds great, but technically she is not.

I was actually confused at first how the group name is SEVENTEEN but they're only 13. So here's what I learned; 13 members + 3 units(members are grouped into vocals, performance and hip-hop units. Each unit also has it's own leader) + 1 team(them as one)

lol no I’ve been a fan since pre-debut even before 17Project. They were always supposed to have 17 members, but it just didn’t work out they reached 16, then 3 left because they weren’t debuting soon enough for the parents liking. The company didn’t see a point in trying to reach it again because there was a risk of them members leaving. The pre-debut live feed was called 17TV so they were already somewhat branded and it wouldn’t have done them any good to change it, especially because people were already not reacting well to the members name changes back then.

I recommend watching live performance of ‘kidult’, ‘to you’ (comeback show), and ‘all my love’ (acoustic version) for their vocals. All of them can sing, rap, and dance. They're talented, funny (variety kings lol), and chaotic

LOVE to see the appreciation for Seungkwan 🧡 a lot of people don't take into account how technically difficult his parts are when comparing him to others which can get frustrating at times. he's still one of the best male K-pop vocalists out there right next to Dokyeom

Dk is absolutely AMAZING!! I got to see him not only in concert but in his musical Exalibur and hoooooooooooooly shit... the CHOKEHOLD his voice has on us i UNREAAAAAAL

If you loved the singers (especially DK and Seungkwan) I would recommend checking out the vocal team songs including “Second Life”, “Habit”, “Hug”, and a few others! They really highlight their unique voices and strengths and mesh together beautifully

Please take note that the first batch is the vocal unit of the group, the second is the hip-hop unit, and the third batch is the performance unit of the group and regardless their expertise, they can all sing!

i love how DK got lots of praise in part 1 and SK got lots of praise in part 2 SVT main vocals well deserved titles

Seventeen are great dancers and super sinchronized too (which is impressive for such a large group), so sometimes people forget how amazing their vocals are. Everyone sings well and is able to showcase their talents, be it through the release of solo songs, or in sub-unit focused side tracks, there's a place for every member to shine. What I've always loved about the DK and Seungkwan duo (the two guys you liked the most) is how they are both amazing and outstanding in different ways, so they complement one another. They have different voices, techniques and singing styles, both are outstanding. The best part is that both have never seen one another as competition, they've instead supported one another the most since they were still trainees, which makes for a great chemistry. Seventeen are fun and ennoyable, you can't watch their stuff without smiling. Glad to see you guys enjoyed 💕

i love how seungkwan (your number two) got more highlights in this part 2 just like how DK (your number 1) got your attention in part 1. these two are seventeen's main vocals :)

What's more amazing about it is all of the songs you've listened are written, composed, and produced by SEVENTEEN themselves. That guy who crosses his arms is actually the man behind almost all of their songs.

You guys should watch Lee Mujin’s service duet for overall kpop vocals but Seungkwan (your #2) was on it and you can listen to him sing more and he’s just so good. Love all your commentary!

I prefer 17 as them. They are so dynamic and flawlessly compliment each other voices.

i' m so glad my boy dokyeom is being properly appreciated! i fell for his voice back in 2016 and it leaves me speechless at how much he's improved from then. every single time i hear him sing he sounds even better. please continue your seventeen journey, there are a lot of treasures from these guys, waiting to be discovered.

I wish you watched some of their live performances. Since the breathier tone is a stylistic choice the main producer woozi (the shortest guy) prefers. Such their song rock with you. They can all sustain their voice for hours WHILE having the hardest/ complex kpop dances.

I feel so happy every time you compliment Seungkwan (the blonde guy). As a boosadans, let me tell you, he is really good! People need to realize that. Like you said, he's killing it!

So, Now that you've seen this, I REALLY need you to the "In My Room" video they did with Rolling Stone. They split into their units (Vocal, HipHop, Performance) and sing a unit song. None of which you hear in the Killing Voice video. Its very up close and personal, and without spoiling things too much. I GOT LITERAL CHILLS while listening to this the first time.
