Luis Miguel was born in Puerto Rico from an Italian Mother and Spanish Father who moved to Mexico to build Luis Miguel's career. Luis Miguel was raised in Mexico and has Mexican and American citizenship.

He was born in Puerto Rico, but was raised in Mexico since de age of 10. His father started managing his career at the age of 11. He had a extremely hard childhood in which his father abused him economically, psychologically, medically & emotionally… His own father Introduced him to drugs and alcohol around the age of 12/13 so he could perform without collapsing. Luis was extremely close with his mom which used to protect him from the dad, but she had to leave due to the amount of domestic abuse his dad infringe on the mother. Later on, and because the dad wanted full control of Luis money and career, the father killed the mother in Spain. By the age of 18, he was bankrupt because the father didn’t pay taxes and left him with 20 million dollars debt. After that his career just kept going up, specially after the “Romance” album… If you really want to know about his life (or part of it) there’s a series on Netflix called “Luis Miguel: The Series”. Is a miracle that Luis still standing and alive after all the stuff that happened to him during his life.

He is Mexican. His father Spaniard, who spent many years in Argentina, where he met his mother Argentinian of Italian descent. They spent many years jumping from country to country so Luis Miguel grew up between Spain and mostly Mexico where he launched his career as a 12 year old, so he's mostly Mexican.

el nivel de ignorancia, informate un poco antes de usar para los videos de tu canal semejante cantante, y decir que algunos dicen que es mexicano, otros italiano y otros latino ( italiano ? ) quien carajo dice que luismi es italiano, y se entiende que no sepas español, y que la mayoria de los de habla inglesa no tengan ni idea de pronunciar 1 simple titulo, cuando los de habla hispana interpretamos muy bien el ingles, 1 poquito de wikipedia para saber de donde carajo es el gran luismi y 3 palabras en español, sino reaccionen a algun pelmaso de habla anglosajona, gracias aguante latinoamerica y el sol de mexico
