When I was young I was trained in classical choral vocal for many years. After college, a very bad trachea injury, hearing loss, life, kids and responsibilities....the love of it just drifted away. Dimash has once again ignited the fire for the music that I once had. I listen to you and I hear my first choir director’s (loved and Cherished) voice and remember all of the lessons. Thank you for your generosity and sharing your wisdom. It says so much about your character that you give Dimash the recognition of his musical genius; as its so obvious how musically gifted yourself. 💕

Hello - I am also a studied vocal teacher and singer - I have given up trying to understand Dimash vocally - it is a total work of art. As if he becomes a channel, a vessel that makes these sounds all audible - yes, in a way sounds of divine beauty - simply because it is the fulfillment on so many levels - as you have said. You see again and again in concerts his complete devotion and opening. To really experience that - and there are many performances and videos of Dimash that show that! - that changes lives... and live he must have an incredible charisma (hardly imaginable- already watching the videos gives you tears and goosebumps when you watch them) Hopefully these bad times are soon over and we can enjoy concerts again, also with Dimash!!!

I will even say that it was better than the original. He is definitly a genius with an amazing vocal range. I like to say that for each interpretation, it's an "eargasm". I don't know if it happens to them but every time I see Dimash it's overwhelming, all the mystique that overflows is blazing, it's perfect. To consider Dimash a "Singer" is definitely insulting him. He is something else, something that we cannot explain. Definitely something divine. Every time I look at him I feel and think inside me "Lord, I am not worthy of his presence, but a melody of his will suffice to heal me ..." In a world so shocked today, his voice is like the light of hope at the end from the tunnel ...

First view! Yay! I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I'm sure it's great! Thank you, Mike, the breakdown and analysis you do are amazing. If you ever get a chance to hear and see him live, definitely take the opportunity, you will love it. He has you floating on a cloud for months afterwards. Dimash's live concerts are an addiction and I hope I never get cured of it 😃. When we visited Dimash's high school in Aktobe last summer, his teacher Mr. Marat Aitimov told us that he actually also thought Di's mother when she was studying to become an opera singer. That was during the time she was pregnant with Dimash. Since she is a soprano,so that's what he was hearing from her belly for hours on end every day. It's no surprise to me that he's so comfortable singing soprano notes 😃. It's actually quite humbling imo, that the same teacher tought the mother and then the child. He has known Dimash since before he was born, literally. The the progression from unborn to newborn, to what we witness today is just mind blowing for me 🤷. He must be beyond proud with him. 💙💙💙 Greetings from the UK💙

I would highly recommend Love Is Like a Dream for your next Dimash project. He spends a lot of time in the lower part of his range on a song that would be quite repetitive if sung by a less capable singer. One thing that really strikes me with this performance is how well he tells a story with his voice - very old school, very "art house", but also very fresh and new. I assume you will watch it at least once before deciding to react/analyze it, so please watch it in your spare time. It's one of the most beloved Dimash performances and just won an award in Russia for his unique interpretation of a classic ballad.

I've watched basically every vocal coach Dimash reaction on youtube. I enjoy them all, but you are without a doubt the most knowledgeable and in-depth analyzer that I've seen. Usually, when I find a new reactor and they pause a lot I find myself rolling my eyes and trying to skip through to when they restart the song as they repeat the same analyses that I've heard from others. But despite pausing more than most during these, I learn a ton of new things in all of your videos!

For his first amalgamation of pop with cultural elements, Hello (the Lionel Richie one). For great duets/trio: Ti Amo Cosi; Earth Song (with Victor Ma); Queen Medley (with Super Vocal Boys).

Hi Mike, greetings from Iran. Ever since you started these reactions to Dimash you have become my favorite reactor. You impart so much knowledge on how he does what he do and that's what I look for in a reactor not just looks of being blown away and oohs and aahs. Though I do love your look of awe. We have been with him in his journey since The Singer competition and are witnesses to his growth as a singer and I must say still don't tire of rewatching his older videos besides being in that perpetual state of awe too. He's in a league of his own! Safe to say he has raised the standard of real singing in all aspects. Please continue to react to more of his songs, even those he sang all the way in his pure baritone (Ti Amo Cosi, Ulysse) we look forward to them and thank you so much.

@@EterPuralis you can find the exact same song being sung by him in another show . It's the exact one. First of all , if you cant tell that there's autotune in this version during that run in the middle , then I guess alot of people just dont have the skills to realize what's studio music and live . Anyway , it's no big deal , it seems he was young during this recording and just did it for fun. I'll link you the exact same Diva Dance version from a previous and much earlier show he was lip synching at .... enjoy m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/npxopLqKk7bfkpc.html
