I'm not a musician, I don't sing, but I love listening to good music and good voices. I don't like many vocal coaches, because they seem arrogant and stop the video to say things that don't interest me, as I have a good ear myself, and that suffices to enjoy a good singer. But you are different. You are appreciative and respectful of a good singer, and when you stop the video to say something, you actually make sense, because you explain very well what you hear the singer do, and provide examples and analogies that make sense to me, for instance, "She sings like a drummer", and then you prove your point by showing what rhythm and instrument she follows and plays off, like the drums or the piano, and what effect that creates. That is interesting, even to a non-musician like myself. I subscribed.

If you're talking legends like Celine\Mariah\Whitney (vocal trinity) or Lara Fabian, Patti Labelle and people like these then she still has a bit to go.

I think ur missing their point of view. He's analyzing mostly on rhythm and accents less of how her vocal placements or enunciations are done. Haven't seen him saying anything about support or resonance stuff like that

@Catalina Mora You know ive been anti ariana fore years, and not admiting how good singer she is placing alot of singers abow her, becuse The diva is not something my self picture agrees with alot without even knowing anything about her or any other diva. Im a dude and glitter and glamour is scary stuff. But hey i apreciate good music, and gaved her a chance (becuse i saw weeknd singing with her, if he sings with her maybe there something should listen to a couple of material from her and see ) and truly listen and it didnt took long for more to understand how Greatly underrated her. Just wow. Here i am saying stuff lika sia and Gaga are way better. I feel stupid. Ariana techniqe You just cant say anything she cant improve in anything she does its perfect and if You listen close You can actually hear shes always holding back. Becuse here voice is to good for common crowd. She wants US to view her as human, Right? I cant deny, ariana are The best pop singer out there that i know of. No doupt, so perfect. She's a legend to me. From the first time I heard her sing I've been obsessed with her. Truly a great vocalist with a great personality too!

this is exactly how i watch every ariana song and be like ima watch this again too at the end lol her voice is amazing! she has perfected her voice technique throughout the years! She knows what shes doing and how to hit those notes and runs!

My favourite song of hers! Love this live version! It didn’t get as much recognition as it deserved compared to the ‘hits’ everyone knows! And the pianist is so talented and AMAZING! And you did a good job of breaking about what she was doing!

Ariana is a fantastic singer!! Being a vocalist, I know what she's doing, and it's great to see someone who can really sing. I've listened to this performance many times because the groove is great and she sings the shizzle out of it!!

You are brilliant, I appreciate your videos so much! I've sung pretty much all my life, but didn't focus on technique, which I want to change now. Your explanations are very helpful, unlike other vocal coaches you're really able to show what the singer is doing in an understandable way. And you focus on the interesting parts and go into detail instead of just breaking down obvious things like the distinction between head and chest voice. Thank you for these amazing reactions/coaching sessions. You gained a subscriber.

Can we talk about the amount of sheer vocal stamina this requires oh my god😭 this song requires the vocal chords of steel…I don’t think I’ve heard many vocally stressful songs as this one, the amount of sustained belted D5s and F5s in here is insanity, and you can even tell at the end she was getting really tired but she powered through it with pure creativity and awesome changes and that to me makes an amazing artist, it’s the creativity, she’s something to appreciate for sure!🥰
