Something I love so much about a Fantasia Barino performance is the fact that she looks like she's having fun. She commands the stage because she enjoys what she does, and it shows. Not only does she have the talent, but she has the star quality of giving and leaving everything on the Stage. It's beautiful AND note worthy.

Fantasia is an ABSOLUTE. MONSTER! I love Jaron talking about using your tongue as a singing tool and nobody uses it to craft her vocals like Tasia. And then after all that, she hits that run @8:01!!!!! Come on now!

She is having so much fun with this performance even though she is working....cause she definitely didn't want to let Patti down...performing that song! 👍🏿💯👌🏿💃🏿❤️

Fantasia is probably the best SOUL singer and performer of this generation. You could add Ledisi to that list as well. I went to a Tasia concert in September when she came to Detroit, and let me tell you my mouth was open and I couldn't sit down. Her mic was ON and her stage presence was on a level I've never experienced. She embodies the essence of all the Soul divas of the 70s and 80s, especially Patti. That's her musical mother. No one is seeing that chile on stage.

I remember when this performance aired and I will always return to it for every bit of what it continues to offer all these years later. I lose myself with Fantasia, Patti and the live audience during this performance. What a powerful moment❣️

The most that makes me upset about this performance is not even the performance it's the fact that why can't we see a digitally remastered version of this on the internet. This is one of my most favorite performances by Fantasia. You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned how Patti didn’t know what to do with herself. When you see Patti in FULL PRAISE BREAK on a song about asking a man to “come home” with you 🤣🤣. Fantasia had the crowd up on their feet. I love the reactions of the crowd most of all.

Whew chile, I wish it was longer... I got the chills.

you can see and hear how the audience really enjoy it and all I can say is I still listen to this video over and over (still). She is very talented singer!!!!!!!!

This performance gave me chills and I love the love and respect between Fantasia and the legendary Ms. Patti Labelle. This was a powerful performance from start to finish.

The one note I wanted him to talk about he didn’t! 😢😅I’m trying to figure out how she reached back and grabbed that high note so crystal clear after all that squallin’ lol I always go to this performance when I need a pep in my step lol

The last time I saw something like this was Michael on stage performing a Tribute to Sammy in the audience….Sammy’s face SAID. IT. ALL. I thought about so many entertainers before MJ and during Sammy’s journey who taught and inspired him, and more than anything I started thinking about what it COSTS them to be world class with it. It really to me felt like Sammy was in awe like he wasn’t expecting there would be anyone qualified to carry it on after him but Michael made him relieved, happy and grateful….he could rest now knowing who would take it from there.
