Great explanation Siddhant bhai. Sans roknay ki technique is misunderstood by many because it's a primarily western technique called "using compression", where you restrict the open throat and don't push air out as much and out through your mouth but rather push is up through your head. Compression is used primarily in rock and pop styles. Naak is awaaz is weird, you don't want to sound like a cartoon character, instead singers should monitor the compression as they sing notes to keep the notes sounding sweet as they go up in register. Soft compression in taar saptak is falsetto and heavy compression in taar saptak is head voice. Listen to Siddhant as he sings Kay Sariya, the connection between chest and head voice is seamless with just the right amount of compression used to maintain sweetness in the notes. Compression used incorrectly can damage your vocal cords.

Absolutely helpful video for voice productions

There are various dimensions in singing. If the concept of western singing doesn't resonate with you and your style then it doesn't mean you need to make fun of western stuffs. First you gotta respect different genres and diversity of music. Ps:- You may loathe opera singing, western classical and many more genres but it doesn't make them bad.

Bhai sir bachpan se seekh rhe he to bhi itni mushkil he 3 octave tk jaa paate he kaushiki ji pt bhimsen ji pt ajoy chakraborty ji ye sb gaate he 3 octave me Or aap keh rhe ho ki 3-4 octave me aasaani se kese gaaye bhai sangeet poora jeevan mangta he bs aapne esi baat boli to laga majak kr rhe to hasi aa gyi baaki baat bura lage to maafi chahunga🙏

But mere guruji ne higher octaves me gaana nhi sikhaya kyuki indian classical me itni importance nhi di jati unche saptak me gayan ko ..indian system me apni range me rhkar k taan, murkiyan, aur bhav gayaki wagera ko kaise master kare ye zyada sikhaya jata h... Higher octaves singing western technique h.. Sir ne likha video title me to maine puch liya ki method batayein kaise higher octaves me gaana h... Riyaz m bhi krta hu bhai apne ye kaise assume kr liya ki m aise hi kuch bhi puch rha hu... Maine 6 saal se bhi zyada sikh rkha h indian classical... Dusri baat ye ki 5-6 octaves me foreigners khoob gaate h kabhi sunna KZread pr.. Aur bohoto ne ye kala 1 year se bhi km me seekhi hoti h.. Isilye ise bhot badi aur kathin cheez mt banao faltu me...
