I have interviewed a number of artists before who dont speak English primarily, and I lead 3 people from the Philippines for my full time job. I have learned how to make sure to speak clearly and to try and keep it simpler so that understanding me is easier for them. And I always say if they dont understand something I say or are not sure of a word, I am always happy to help them so that the point they want to make comes across. They did a great job and their English skills are growing. That is going to serve them very well going forward reaching international status. And we are here to support that.

When I first saw this years ago, I thought it was because they were so young, but it seems to be even more noticeable now as they get older! It is very beautiful and heartwarming to see! In the West, there is a lot of stigma attached to physical affection, but they are blowing right through that! ♥

I was so happy to finally meet them. With the interview taking place after their show, I was told I only had limited time and I didnt want to overstay my welcome. We talked for about 5 minutes beforehand and I expressed my gratitude to the ladies because our first episode really sent the podcast into a new realm, and I wanted to make sure my gratitude was known to them

Now they need to make a song about Pizza because it would be interesting if Marsya, Widi and Siti learned Italian just for a song like that.

So glad you posted this interview. Beat Kitchen told me they sold out the venue immediately. I think VOB and Lovebites are the most exciting things going on in the world of metal. Astonishingly good musically and meaningful lyrics. Other groups don't keep me coming back for more.

@@user-fb8ji9bl4e anda betul pengaruh abah erza sangat kuat sekali..beliau hanya mengajarkan dasar alat music dan dasar bhs inggris..tapi beliau hanya menemani saja selanjutnya mereka hrus berjuang sendiri secara outodidak kalo sudah mentok baru mereka mengadu ke abah erza sebagai jujukan akhir..jd jelas abah erza bukan sekedar guru tapi beliau bisa mengarahkan pemberontakan vob ke arah yg positiv dan berarti buat semua personal.

Yes, VOB's music has its own characteristics, it's pleasant to hear but still fun for head banging. Hoping that their songs can be accepted more widely among metal rock music lovers.

I mean, we are fully behind them, Tom Morello is fully behind them, and the guys in Above Snakes (the opening band who have also been on the podcast and are friends) were amazed at seeing them play live. More people need to embrace them and we are here to help

A subscriber to the channel submitted that one and I had to ask it. Brought my favorite moment of the entire thing with Sitti saying she listened to Lamb of God to meditate. Glad to see that they are coming back to the US for a support slot for The Hu. Unfortunately I wont be able to make it to any shows given the location so I wont be able to do another one of these this time around.

Yes this actually happened. You should have seen me before meeting the ladies, I was anxious and jittery but right when I met them, it all went away and it was one of the most comfortable interviews I've ever done. 1st time doing one in person too. And there was no better band to do it with than VOB. Thank you for checking it out, I appreciate it!

5:25 also I will say that if Tom Morello showed up Marsya, Widi and Siti would attempt to play with him but at some point they would just stop playing because they would just fall from faint because of how happy they would be and maybe a bit of tears of joy.
