"Legendary frontwoman" indeed. Marsya is such a superstar. Look at how she works that crowd. This kind of personality comes along once a century. And what are the chances that she would befriend two other immensely talented and dedicated kids from her own school, Widi and Siti? The odds are vanishingly small. Look at their videos of 5 and 6 years ago, performing in a schoolyard or local gig, and you can see Marsya already has that eye, that sensitivity for what the crowd is feeling at the moment, and notice how she works it.

These young ladies really capture the spirit of the song. That's what matters.

This is incredible. metalheads, we all know Hetfield and Ulrich, and Hammett, and all the stuff - and now come three girls who play Metallica just as well. Amazing.

VOB is an amazingly talented band. They are also amazing women and have much to teach us. Plus, they kick ass and enjoy doing it.

Always so much fun watching Ryan watch VOB - Band smiling, me smiling, Ryan smiling, me smiling at Ryan smiling - the world is a good place, and no small contribution from these Indonesian musicians.

Firstly, these ladies are just awesome. The confidence with which they play and the way they play is just so refreshing and incredibly awesome when you know their backstory. They deserve all the support and I hope they get the chance to really break out in a big way. They have earned their stage swagger and I love it... I also found a new bassist that I love. She's already in my top 5 female bassists. Secondly while this cover is good, and I love how they make the cover their own while staying faithful to the original... Sitti (the drummer) is already a better drummer than Lars with a kit that costs 1/10 of his and is 1/4 the size. LOL I think their over of RATM's Killing in the Name Of is much better than this if you can believe it.. especially from this same show. And thirdly, this is an amazing show. I've watched 3x already since I first came across it this week. I was an instant fan of them and want to see them live.

As of today, September 11, 2022, Siti doesn't even have a complete drum set. He only has 1 snare and a double pedal which he bought with his savings and he still practices at home using a double pillow instead of a bass drum.

They are still very young and talented; hopefully, they will become a popular band and contribute to world music.

Bucket List band, man! Totally agree about Marsya (I think she goes by Marsya). Her level of charisma reminds me of Saiki and her vocal range is impressive. Siti is getting REALLY good on the skins and I always love the SOUND of her drums. Then there's Widi... 🤯. "Sundanese Instrumental" "School Revolution", and "Age Oriented" are also fanatastic, all from this show. Thanks Ryan! 🕊
