As a university student who is now far from home, that really hit hard... Alhamdulillah we still have our parents to be with us especially on hard days... No matter what we have gone through when we were young, we get to understand them better as we grow up and get mature. Whoever is now watching this with a broken heart or maybe anger to their parents (just like how i used to do before), they shall know that it's all to be gone one day and all they do is only by their love for us, really. Even if things end up wrong. May Allah (swt) give our parents long and happy, healty lives.

This song moves me to tears so much. Each line resonates deeply, tugging at the heartstrings of both the mother and the daughter within me. There was a time when I harbored resentment towards my parents, but becoming the mother of a teenager change my perspective entirely. I finally realize that most of their actions were driven purely by love and concerns. May Allah bless both of my parents and grant them Jannah.

As I moved abroad to pursue my studies, far from my parents for the first time in my life, I can't deny that I matured in only 3 months. I do understand them more right now, I do aknowledge that I was taking them for granted for always being by my side and answering to my needs. As the lyrics say, now all I can hear is literally my mom's voice guiding me through all these new life challenges and my dad's voice giving me strength to move forward. I do miss my parents especially that I've never parted with them before and they were and still are my only best friends and confidents. I can't emphasize enoguh how grateful I am to them for too many reasons that words can't do them justice. May Allah The Almighty preserve them, make them always happy, healthy and worriless, grant them the highest levels of Jannah which is Al Firdaous and reunite us as a family again here and hereafter. And may He swt help and allow me to return the favor in this dunyah and in the akhirah. May all these duaas be for all the parents of the world.
