Grey Delise-Griffin has voiced so many female characters over the years that I subconsciously associate her voice as the default female voice. Especially when I was a kid, I used to hear her voice everywhere and now it's the definition of "normal female" to me.

Thomas Whalley - I can't find anywhere saying she was anorexic? She did die by suicide though and the majority of anorexia deaths are caused by suicide, so I fear that's not unlikely . . .

I feel that in the really early years Grey Delise-Griffin, tried to mimic the tones and way of speaking like the early Daphne voice actors but as the years go on, she found her own tone and personality for Daphne.

Mary Kay's voice escpecially in Zombie island is my FAVORITE for sure. Such a sassy Daphne voice.

R.I.P - Mary Kay Bergman (1961 - 1999) her last film feature, Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders and the film was dedicated to her memory then the year, 2017. R.I.P - Heather North (1945 - 2017) her final film role as Daphne in Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico.

Grey is the voice I always associate with Daphne - however I do think Amanda Seyfried would have made a brilliant live action Daphne

Kind of hard to believe that the Scooby Doo franchise is now 51 years old. That's a lot of time in dog years! One of my favorite Daphne moments is she she joined The Hex Girls. One of my favorite moments in the franchise was when Shaggy was broadcasting on the radio and used his "radio voice", which suspiciously sounded just like Casey Kasem.

Heather North was the best Daphne Voice. When she returned as Daphne in the early 80's the character became the group leader and gave orders like Freddy Jones .

I always felt that between Fred and Daphne in the original live action movies, their characterizations were based on "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo," rather than their original 60's and 70's versions. And it works for the movie. Really seems that since Pup, Daphne became fashion obsessed as a result.

I completely agree! I was a fan of the original series so, the movies' portrayal of Daphne as a trendy fashionista always threw me off. Daphne just seemed a little more grounded before "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" happened. The live-action movies, also, seemed to get her go-go boots from "Pup". Those are the only times I can remember Daphne ever wearing anything like that, anyway.

I'd say that, like Fred, Daphne isn't really a dynamic character the way Shaggy and Scooby are. Sure, she has the "Danger Prone Daphne" moments, but other than that she's just one of the grounded three to counterbalance wacky dog and hippy boy. Though, it does seem "Pup" had a big influence on the live action films to the point where they directly referenced Coolsville and in the second film, Chickenstein made an appearance. Pup is oddly one of my favorite versions of the show, and it's funny that in the case of certain shows, it's actually canon.

That's the "New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show" right? Those are the ones I tend to think of where they first got Daphne to shine. Even when she wasn't given that distinction, I always felt that Fred and Daphne were the anchors that kept the show centered. Shaggy and Scooby were the dynamic characters, sure, but when they had their own shows they just weren't that good. While I think New Scooby and Scrappy and 13 Ghosts do work without Velma and Fred, I think the whole team just makes the cartoons work overall. Fred's the leader, Daphne's the second in command, Velma's the brains, and Shaggy and Scooby are the heart and the comic relief.

Mary Kay will always be my Daphne. But Grey Griffin is just as perfect

Stefania sounded very prim, preppy, and girlish. Heather North's Daphne sounded more mature. Loved Grey and Mary Kay (Grey was a protégé of hers) Kellie Martin brought a sassy, Valley Girl to the role. Alice Dinnean sounded hyper (was this for preschoolers?) with a touch of bossy. Sarah Michelle really channeled Buffy. Kate and Sarah are teen twists. Amanda is well suited

Daphne Blake not only beautiful but I was so sharp, sassy, sweets and brave. Well in the beginning she was the one to get captured the most calling her out as a damsel in distress character she has gone through a lot of great changes over the years. Sometime around the live action film big made her more i’m a fighter and I’m proud of that. As well she’s also shown to be resourceful I’m making a talented problem solver. And even if the new recent show being be cool Scooby Doo the actually made her a bit more comedic if I actually enjoy it. I enjoy the changes of Daphne Blake making her more capable and enjoyable, thank you writers.

For me my favorite Daphne voices are both the late great Heather North and Grey Delisle Griffin

My favourites are Grey DeLisle and Mary Kay Bergman.

Wow. Is it just me or did Daphne have the least memorable lines in the early Scooby shows? Just saying, shows how far the character has come since then.

The early writers were too cautious with how her character is used or faces adversity due to the strict Saturday morning standards regarding cartoon violence. The modern writers thankfully evolved her character beyond just her pretty good looks

I like "Grey DeLisle-Griffin" voice performance as "Daphne Blake", in 2016 at the Nickelodeon Animation Studios during the production of "The Loud House" she had three character role in the series, she voiced as the twins "Lana L. Loud" {Tomboy}, "Lola Loud" {little miss pageant princess} and the baby "Lily L. Loud" {15 mouth old child}.

Grey has the advantage of her character being more fleshed out even more than her 1969 self.

Grey Delisle- Griffin is definitely my favorite and has given daphne the most character over the years

I think the difference between the first two voice actress and the second two is almost based on how developed Daphne's character is. The Daphne from Mystery Inc/ WNSC/a lot of the movies feels like such a different and more developer character than she is in the original series

I just watched an old episode of Green Acres where Heather North played Kathy, a Hooterville High School teenager with a schoolgirl crush on Oliver Wendell Douglas. Her teenage insults of Oliver's wife Lisa Douglas were very funny. Heather North passed away in November of 2017 and will be remembered most as the longest tenured voice of Daphne on Scooby-Doo. May she rest in peace.💐

Ya, Sarah is kind of the spittin’ image of the late Carrie Fisher herself, but w/ different hair color.

Grey Griffin also voiced herself in Scooby-Doo and Guess Who episode, A Haunt of a Thousand voices alongside Frank Welker, Matt Frewer and Kate Micucci.

Gery Delisle/Griffin played the voice of Daphne again in Supernatural and Scooby-Doo crossover episode scoobynatural

Stephanianna Christopherson was always good to me too. To me she gets unfair heat because of short stint as the original voice.

Compared to the other Daphne actresses combined, Grey DeLisle-Griffin is the top Daphne in any Scooby-Doo movie, TV series, and specials, hands down! And tbh, even though I’d rather she voiced her in the new movie instead of Amanda Seyfried, I kinda dig on her new design. They should use it more often.

For Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, Heather North was slated to reprise Daphne, but they wanted to update Daphne's character hence she was replaced with Mary Kay Bergman after a day of recording.

Technically, for the Mystery Map video, Alice is just doing the puppetry; Grey is still the voice.

Grey will always be Daphne and Fire Nation Princess Azula.

Grey seems to always be a great replacement voice. She was great as Betty Rubble. But on Johnny bravo she voiced teenage pebbles in a page right out of history episode.

Grew up with Stefanianna's and Heather's version of Daphne most. But Heather will always be Daphne for me

You should do an evolution of the pink panther cartoon if you haven't already, that used to be my favorite cartoon as a kid.

I love that Grey is still voicing Daphne, but, no matter how good she is (and she's really good at it), she can't surpass Heather North. She was the voice actress that coined the voice accent Daphne has in most versions of the Scooby franchise. If Stephanianna Christopherson had continued to voice Daphne through "The Scooby-Doo Show", perhaps Daphne would sound a little different than what she sounds today, because Grey's voice for Daphne is based on Heather's.

In her 2003 take on Daphne, I think Heather North did better in Legend of the Vampire and sounded close to her original portrayal of Daphne during her early years compared to Monster of Mexico where her voice was starting to give way. Even so, North will be the more memorable Daphne from SDWAY

Like Mindy Cohn as Velma, I think Grey DeLisle-Griffin has an advantage in that she both has done it the longest and has been in projects where Daphne is given more personality. DeLisle-Griffin therefore shows off the most range, getting to be emotional at times and somewhat sarcastic at others. Mary Kay Bergman’s voice is pretty similar to DeLisle-Griffin’s, and I think she very well could have shown even more range in the role had she not unfortunately left us so soon. Martin fits very well as the voice in A Pup Named Scooby Doo, bringing a comedic edge to the character that isn’t as present in most other incarnations. North and Christopherson were alright, but Daphne’s personality was never really that defined back then outside of her occasionally being accident-prone. North has a slight edge over Christopherson because she voiced her longer and there were attempts to have her play more of a leadership role in the mid-1980s. Judging from the clips available, it seems as though Seyfried is going for the more sarcastic approach as Daphne. It’s fine, although it doesn’t really seem all that distinct. My ranking: 1. Grey DeLisle-Griffin 2. Mary Kay Bergman 3. Kellie Martin 4. Heather North 5. Amanda Seyfried 6. Stefanianna Christopherson
