Your trays for holding water are getting bigger and bigger, Thierry. Soon enough you're gonna have to hire a "baywatch" on patrol in your studio. To keep you from drowning. 😄

Hello! The result is very good, but I don't understand why use so much water? I got a similar photo, using only a baking tray. Thanks for sharing. Until next time! ;-)

Hello Pablo and thank you. To answer your question, first of all, that’s all I had at my disposal. Second, I don’t think I would have had the space on a baking tray for that bottle. It’s just a way to get the result and show how to do it, but everyone can adapt it in their own way.

I just get worried about you. Swiss vodka and deep trays for holding water is a dangerous combination 😄😃

I'm looking at shooting a particular perfume bottle that is highly reflective in a small area just below the cap where it essentially acts as a mirror picking up a reflection of the camera itself. Not shooting straight on is one solution around this for me but what do you believe is the best method when shooting the bottle without angling it?

You can try to cut a hole in a white foam sheet and put it on your lense. That way, you'll only have the front lens reflections which'll be easier to remove in post
