You know, I like this singer and I don't know your musical jargon, I listen by ear. I'm not in good health, I'm not a girl anymore and I just lost the man of my life. So you see, listening to a singer who captures my spirit to forget death, it makes me cry but with less pain.

I totally agree with the Gethsemane suggestion. 😊 And My Heart Will Go On ( Celine Dion cover) will blow you away! 😉

This song by Dan is so much fun and so amazing at the same time. Dan was recently asked what songs he sang had his highest and lowest notes. He answered The Rains of Castamere for low note and I'll Make a Man Out of You for highest note. He really is a genius at taking a good song and making it something spectacular. One you'd never think would make for a good metal version is Kiss From a Rose, but Dan has as much of a gift as an arranger as a singer, and that cover with Violet Orlandi proves it!

Thanks for another great reaction. Dan always grabs an opportunity to employ his theatrical chops, and it’s clear how much he enjoys it. He says he hears metal versions of songs in his head, and his metalized versions of ordinary songs are among my favorites of his. His newest, My Heart Will Go On, is a great example. Others are his other Witcher covers, Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, Seal’s A Kiss from a Rose (duet with Violet Orlandi and a terrific production job), and his Christmas songs, particularly O Holy Night. Or, there are many examples of non-metal Broadway Dan on his channel, especially The Music of the Night or Gethsemane. I’m glad you’re continuing the journey!

@@techsoul5590 Yes. He composes music for video games, so he listens to a lot of music. He might as well make videos of it, too. I really enjoy how he breaks down the music and explains it in ways non-musicians can understand (even though I'm a musician myself).

5:09 Although not Dan’s relative, Raphael Mendez is from Brazil. Dan does have a brother, Davi, who plays guitar in some of Dan’s videos. Davi shaves his head and always wears a white shirt. He has a KZread channel where he composes and reacts to and teaches us about video game music. Dan and Davi also both have their own gaming channels.

This past week he and his band and lots of others lost a Dear friend...he was the guy that does most of their mixing and such, i know very little sbout mixing and such. But they are just broken hearted. He work with them 1000s of hours. He had to have know them pretty well to be able to take the sond in their heads and make it come out of the speakers like what they heard or better!
