Vocal Style - Riffs & Runs
Vocal style is a subtle rhythmic variation of a melodic note or phrase. It brings new life and interest into the voice by interrupting the normal melodic pattern. It’s kind of like a subtle musical “Surprise!” In this video, we will learn how to sing vocal embellishments such as vocal riffs and runs.

Dear Madeleine, i noticed some singers when singing, they have veins on their necks or their necks looks like its straining. But you taught us to be relaxed when singing. And when i am singing, my neck doesnt strain / no veins. Am i doing something wrong?
