He is a legendary artist and was a genius at composing music for other artist and himself. The hurt you hear this song song Is because he wrote this song to his birth mother who abandoned him. The title of the song is called in Spanish the day that I met you. That he never knew hurt or pain until the day he met her.

It's funny you mentioned Elvis, because Juan Gabriel was considered the Mexican Elvis in his day! Definitely one of the few singers who gives me goosebumps and makes me shed tears when I listen. Cheers to the amazing analysis and commentary.

Hello, I stumbled onto ur channel while browsing. First-timer here but am a fan of reaction channels.Although, ur a bit late to Juan Gabriel, im thrilled u discovered him. I say "a bit late" because there are reactors that jumped into that rabbit hole and have gone thru the majority of Juan Gabriel's catalogue. Its always joyful to see them find him from way back in the beginning of his career when he was a really young guy.
