Only another Sohyang can be her partner!! :) Her own new song, STAY was released the day before yesterday!! Different and unique low voice took me to the memories of the past. I felt I were in a dream.

She did not even have to use any of her highest notes and she sounds great

Sohyang sang a lot of new songs in the show ''Begin Again'', among them ''i will always love you'', ''if i ain't got you'', ''day day", ''please'', ''i will go to you like the first snow'', "I'll be there", ''I won't give up", ''you are the reason'', ''Marvin Gaye", ''misty" and others that I'm probably missing due to my bad memory 😅. To me SoHyang's golden years are just starting...!!! In 2020 She's more active with her mission to comfort people in this year because of COVID and other bad things... SoHyang did so many new song cover and duets in the Begin Again Show and 2 MV's... Everything is improved, amazing musicality, some changes to her arrangements, more lighter and lower/dark (which i like). just checkout a few and you seems to have forgotten about her a bit, but once you start reacting to her new performance it will be like when you first discovered her, all over again...

I love your So Hyang reactions! I am a total fan of her singing from Norway. If you want to react to some of her older performances, would I highly recommend "Where are you" from 2012. That is probably her most emotional performance, with a very intense climax (she nearly cry when she sing). Unfortunately the version on KZread contain disruptive interview clips during the performance so I highly recommend the Vimeo version on that one (with English subs). The KZread channel "Phantom of Singing" rate Where are you as her best live performance.

She has released so much new stuff recently because of covoid19 & I think you know how she wants her music to help people that are having difficult times. Apart from this music video(unusual for sohyang) she has been on a TV programme called 'begin again korea'. The idea of this show is that a small group of musicians/singers go 'busking' in various work places/parks etc or drive-ins, with really small audiences because of the virus. This is season 4 & sohyang joined them for episodes 6,7,& 8 ,at both daytime & nightime. She was so much fun,mixing it with the younger popstars,one of which was henry lau,you may have heard of him, & sohyang was there as the senior,but oh boy! did she show the other artists how its done. Its a long time since we've had any current material from her & now we have lots.she is in such a good place right now & has had a lengthy period of been well,without any health issues & you can tell,she looks amazing in her 'casual' wear & minimal make-up,if any!! And as for her voice,I never thought i'd say this but she sounds better than ever,which is amazing considering that all these 'busking' performances were acoustic

Cont..... and she even sang a capella & obviously live,no autotune (even the doubters will have to concede), and usually just sat down with her legs crossed! The show is called 'begin again korea' series4 & she started with a bang by singing an amazing rendition of WH's 'i will always love you'. You could see the other singers just staring at her with their mouths open, a look that I saw often whilst sohyang was singing.obviously instruments are very few whilst 'busking' so she decided to sing the saxaphone solo that appears in the original! I honestly thought that they'd put this vid out 1st because that was the peak of her performances but no, it was just as & when they were performed & many more equally brilliant performances were to follow. Other fav's were: her rendition of Ella Fitzgerald's 'misty' OMG!!! Her performance of 'if i aint got you' by Alicia Keys She sang 'you are the reason' by callum scott & he sent a message to say how impressed he was with the performance. Also 'i'll be there' by MJ She outrapped the youngsters on 'day day' & it was even better than her performance of this song on KOMS. She did some korean songs,some of which I recognised but she regularly had both audience & fellow musicians in tears. There are so many more but if you love sohyang you have to see these performances, not only is she looking younger but she is sounding better as she gets older. Even if you dont do a reaction to them (I hope you do though) please just watch them for your own enjoyment

@@user-ou5qm7dx5o I loved her Misty but is same arrangement she used earlier this year at VIVA New Years concert and last year at Daegu Jazz Festival (대구축제 재즈페스티벌). The others are new songs for her or newer arrangements by her.

The chair is an art piece created by Alessandro Mendini and is on display at a museum in Korea, where the music video was filmed. It's about 14 feet high and it is my understanding no one has been allowed to sit on it except Sohyang because, well, only angels can float up there and perch themselves that majestically.

sohyang has very angelic voice with falsetto
