props to her! this is the proof working hard as a singer to do the best as she can with her instrument and with the nature she already knows. Momo improved and i don't hear much people mentioning that very often. From the girl 4 years ago had a bad day on a encore, as ONCE myself since 2016, she improved soooo much.

sometimes singers take out their in ears so they can hear themselves better or if it's too distracting :) it depends on the track that's playing in that ear too! It could be a metronome + some artists don't like having in ears if they're not in a super big area

@@ananabean1150 absolutely, taking out the in ear monitor can indeed help singers like jihyo hear themselves better, especially in complex tracks or when performing in smaller settings. i was going to add some details to my comment.. in jihyo's case, her decision also reflects her confidence in her vocal abilities. by taking out one of her in ear monitors, she was adjusting to performing with less direct monitoring of her voice and the music. despite this adjustment, her powerhouse vocals and belty approach, combined with a strong onset and finish, really shine through even without full monitoring. it's impressive how she can adjust and deliver such a strong performance!

When you notice Jihyo n Nayeon have a powerhouse vocal, i agree. Also when they sing together, its really blend perfectly, just as you said, such a harmony

They been singing & touring for 9 yrs many vocal directors praises twice. Many new gen of kpop cant even sing twice early songs. Its so high for them. They been on tour almost 1 yr now They been to sofi & metlife stadium. last week they do concert in allegiant stadium. And i can guarantee you everyone attending concert of twice they always praised them. They have a live band in tour!

I voice cracks everytime I sing their songs without their voices 😂 I always had to make my voice higher in order to sing it correctly

Sometimes, as a Twic fan, I wonder if they are doing "playback" and then an extra sound is heard (laughing, they trip over their feet, they scream as if they are about to fall, their hand or nail touches the microphone, and I understand that they are not doing playback, their microphones are on, that's how good they are.. Especially Nayeon sings so easily and with a smile that someone who doesn't know her might think the microphones are off :))

You can lipsync with the mic on. I think usually because of the heavy dances, they mix lipsync and live singing.

killing voice always uses pitch correction. It is live for sure! but there is pitching in post-production which is extremely unlikely in 30 mins of continuous singing. but yeah, their voices are all good

Killing voice has reputation and so is jyp ent. Koreans are known for their reputation. jyp ent is the most human ent agency in korea. character and reputation matter most in jype. Both killing voice and jyp ent would not just let twice appear on killing voice with fake singing. knets would be so loud then, and twice would be cancelled. Fans of other group who did live singing in killing voice would be so jealous then and attack twice, jype and killing voice. Twice sang live or performed live the same way the previous guests of killing voice did. Twice were trained to sing while smiling or looking good. They practice singing almost every day. If they are not in concert tour or having activities, they are obliged to report for duty at jype every day except for day off. they are like ordinary employees but they dont do office works. what they do at jype is to practice singing and dancing. can you imagine that? who would not be good in singing in that kind of lifestyle? and they do it for 9 years plus their trainee years.

This is the power of a ten-year group. Many people do have a misconception regarding TWICE’s vocal abilities as their tracks are very commercially successful and they do sound “fun” and “young” but the girls are great as well as their dances being so intricate, that built up over the years.

yeah jihyo is such a powerhouse vocalist, she's quite belty in her approach and always trying to support and give like a full resonance into her singing. she know how much volume she need to put, the best part is her voice sound so full when hitting high note! one of the best belter i've ever heard in kpop

saw them in concert live last year, they def sing live! you could hear some panting into the mic and gasping of breath every now and then during their concerts but say, there must be a reason why they're able to sell out NFL and MLB stadiums worldwide. the amount of training that they do and the amount of work they put into their craft is def noticeable!! the one you said was a powerhouse vocal is their main vocal, park jihyo, who also happens to be their leader!!

One thing that probably helps them develop excellent breath control is that they've learned to do all these songs while doing choreography that isn't always the easiest.

oh i just know you're gonna love JIHYO's mini album ZONE!

Twice is even more incredible LIVE. Their stage presence is stunning! This Killing Voice is completely LIVE. You can hear their unique tones throughout their performance which you don't hear in the studio version. They've been getting hate since they rose to the top and stayed there with their lack of singing ability as the main criticism. True fans know that they can sing and sing well, hence the reason why they're the most successful Kpop GG in history.

I respect your quote..we are living in the generation that anyone can break records while using technology. But when it comes to live..that's the reality hit. Btw jihyo (power house😂) literally sang acapella version of feel special in concerts

You'll notice on the comments of this vid that a lot of people have asked if this was done LIVE, and the answer is YES 🥰 Their vocals are just that in tune and in synched w/ each other that there isn't much difference from the studio version to their Live version. There is a significant change with Tzuyu, Sana and Dahyun's voice since it has been almost 9 years from their debut album to present 😍

I, as a fan of them for years now is kind of surprised too when I first watched this. Because it sound really, like really the EXACT SAME to the records, but then I realized my girls have on a back to back concert tours these past years. Finallly i got ur reaction for TWICE , they're my fav GG who have been indefatigable for music industry even they alreaady debute for 9 years.

For people asking if it’s live obviously there’s some editing & some effects just for vocals to sound a bit better they do it for every group. Mamamoo’s was very noticeable. I will say thoo I saw them live last year they they do sing almost perfectly like the studio version. Also their voices are extremely high pitched it was insane. I was honestly in disbelief how high pitched Sana’s voice sounded it was almost unreal & jihyo who has a very strong powerful voice her voice was also extremely high pitched I was shocked bc she has that powerful voice but she can also sing at a high pitch for example 9:04 you can hear how well she blends with the song. Like I swear I just stood there listening carefully to their voices it’s crazy how high pitched their voices are specially Sana, Momo & Tzuyu. They can easily sing these songs with those voices.

@@timidddle Yes for sure. I have videos on my phone of them singing live at the concert. I could hear them clearly. The only time they lipsynced is some of them during their solo but that’s cuz they were dancing hard. Other than that they’ve def improved from the concerts.

​@@rem_xo Even during my solo stage, I did it live. It was just that I used AR in important parts of the performance because it was performance-oriented, and I sang it live.

Twice proving why nearly every K-Pop artist that came after their debut idolizes them.

You have to remember that these ladies have had 9 years of constant practicing, the best vocal coaches during that time, and they've worked really hard to be able to sound like that. They are one of the best girl groups for a reason. You should do a then and now comparison because they have all grown so much. Especially Momo and Tzuyu.

I agree with all your comments about how good TWICE is singing live in Dingo Killing Voice (and your additional info or explanation), but my main enjoyment is seeing your reaction. Your expression and body gestures are just hilarious. Btw, the singer that you asked to lead the song in her voice is Nayeon and the second one you praise (the one in the white jacket) is Jeongyeon. The third one that made you jump from your seat is Jihyo and she's the leader of the group. Thank you for this very enjoyable reaction video. Two thumbs up.

ofc they sang this live. one of them said they filmed it three times and their throats were gone afterwards. also there’s probably some editing in the vocals afterwards. the girls did amazing

honestly this killing voice solidified for me how much i like jihyo's voice, it's this open quality! i love it when jihyo uses her full well rounded voice, i love singer that is properly supporting their belts and you can see how she's holding that time really really nicely. she also has strong onsets and strong finish, very attentive to everything she sings

There is supposedly minimal processing but nothing like auto tune etc. we know very well it is live cuz for one they cut up the songs, 2 they change some notes, 3 they toss in some fun ad libs as well as playful moments between members to show the mics are indeed on. They rehearsed 2x beforehand and went straight into it and they said their voices were raw by the end since the Final recording is one cut.

They do very intricate Choreo while singing so being able to stand there and sing played into their favors, vocally even more so. Years of training dedication hard work pays off. They sing and dace for living. This is a day in the park for them.

Killing Voice along with it's live are professional live performances, with some post production, which is why the audio sounds more studio-ish than your average live performance

Twice is my favourite girl group during my high school days bro. Literally love them all❤. 9 member, 9 different charm, 9 different voice, 9 years, etc.

When you see how playful they are it's indicative of the love they have for each other and gives them the strength and courage to do their best. They've become family and with that support they hit it out of the park every time. You should check out their solo and unit debuts which were top notch and broke many record. They were Im Nayeon, MiSaMo and Jihyo.

I really don't know how a vocal coach can't tell the difference between true live vocals and post production manipulated 'live' vocals. None of Dingo Music's Killing Voices are true unedited live performances, yes not even Mamamoo's Killing Voice.

Them being able to blend together so seemlessly is both super impressive but also not surprising at all. They are all so talented and have been singing together for almost 10 years so it makes sense they know how to blend so well

They just finished their last stop in the US in Vegas at allegiant stadium and there’s plenty of clips of them performing live and having a great time

Jihyo had been a trainee for 10 years in JYP and now 9 years since debuted so it she honed her vocal, dance, performance, and she has strong personality. All most quality of an idol

The main vocalist of Twice has a solo album called "Zone" from Jihyo

They're usually running around dancing while doing this, so this is much more comfortable to do. I think you did a reaction to Nayeon's Pop, so you should react to her recording session for it. Other vocal coaches have done so as well. All the members have noticeably improved over the years if you follow their concert footage. They could have coasted as the #1 kpop girl group, but they always give it their all when performing.
