If you want some more meatl christmas songs go check out Tommy Johansson's channel or maybe his band Majestica. There you will find a metal version of most christmas songs. You heard Tommy play as he is the guitar player fro Sabaton but you didnt hear him sing so you missed out.

Well, she studied in Germany, at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe - University of Music. While she's apparently not fluent enough in German to feel confident enough to use it on stage, speaking, I'm sure she had plenty of time to hone her pronunciation, especially with pretty well-known songs.

@@ohaussNatürlich spricht sie deutsch auf der Bühne. Erst letzte Woche beim ‚Dark Christmas’ Konzert gehört. Auch beim Meet&Greet manchmal. Sie spricht es nicht perfekt, das ist richtig. Deswegen macht sie es auch nicht oft. Aber sie spricht besser deutsch als sie sagt, und sie versteht alles. 😉 Sie hatte übrigens in Finnland auch schon deutsch an der Schule. Schönen Gruß 🤘🏻

Thank you for your reaction. I love that you know the history of Nightwish and this song. And Tarja is amazing in her solo. OTannenbaum is from her previous album Score for Dark Christmas (2017). A month ago, she released a new album, Dark Christmas, which has an even more epic and haunting sound, mainly Jingle Bells. I love O Holy Night the most on it, but the whole album is fantastic.

Queen Tarja (you got it right the 2nd time) has been experimenting and growing as a singer, producer, and writer most of her life. It shows . Her solo career started with a christmas album in Finnish. Her melancholy over Christmas after her Mother's passing inspired her to create darker themed christmas music . She has suceeded admirably.

The small and quiet made it so much more creepy!!! And all the history trivia was amazing!

One would also need to examine maps going back centuries and match them up with historical events. The borders changed so often, it gets confusing what belonged to whom and when.

@@michaelgoetze2103 But composer of original song, Melchior Franck, was german, from Zittau, it's town near to borderline with Poland and Czech Republic, and if I'm correct, when he lived this town was part of Germany.

Tarja have an amazing and vast solo career from metal to classical, to experimental electronic music. Her solo work is really worth checking out. Mystique Voyage, Witch Hunt, Naiad, Anteroom of Death, Eagle Eyes (feat Chad Smith and Toni Turunen), are some of my favorites by her.
